The East Branch of the Saint John Free Public Library serves East Saint John and eastern Saint John Country from its home at 55 McDonald Street.
Part of the New Brunswick Public Library Service, we're the place for free use of books, CDs, DVDs, computers, magazines, audiobooks, and more.
We offer computer and internet access if you want to check your e-mail, browse the web, or finish that major project. We also offer free wireless internet, so feel free to bring your laptop or tablet along.
We have a number of regular programs, including Preschool Storytime every Thursday, monthly book clubs for children and adults, film nights, computer clinics and tutorials, and so much more!
The East Branch is also home to southern New Brunswick's Talking Books collection. This service is offered to those who are visually impaired or who cannot physically lift a book - ask our staff for more information.
Feel free to visit our sister branches. The Main Branch (and regional headquarters) are at Market Square in Uptown Saint John and the West Branch is in Lancaster Mall.
