Absolutely amazing experience for a pair of coffee hounds like us! Pictured here is our flight of coffees - perfectly portioned tasters of their Robin light, Raven espresso and Nighthawk dark coffees, complete with tasting notes and origin information. We absolutely loved it, and then followed it up with a full sized flat white for Himself, and a cortado for me not to mention a divine herb and cheese scone. Full intentions of returning multiple times to sample ALL roasts, and really gain solid footing in the world of specialty coffee. Highly, HIGHLY recommend on both quality of product and service - although please forgive me as I can't recall the name of our excellent server on the Sunday we visited charming, enthusiastic, and willing to share her own knowledge with us!. Recommend the Nighthawk for those who have been disappointed or turned off of dark roasts elsewhere - this was a very pleasant surprise with all the depth of flavour without the harsh overtones.
So today I was at early bird, and I gotta say I was super disappointed when the dude behind me complained that he had to wait to pay for his coffee. First off, sir, good things come to those who wait and patience is a virtue. The wonderful and hard working employees do their absolute best to serve everyone in a timely manner. When one person is working on their own and handles a crowd of people, you give them credit. I have nothing but the best to say about early bird. Kindest owners and staff, delicious coffee and treats. Want just any coffee? Then there’s a Starbucks across the road.
Great staff, service, and coffee! Owner Elio is terrific to share his knowledge and tips on a great brew! Will always stop here for a coffee when in town!
I was on my way to London and stopped in Woodstock for gas and I saw this coffee shop afar and when I saw "roasters", I knew I wanted to go in... I have an Bezzera Magica machine at home and constantly looking for better coffee beans...first of all the Roaster probably the owner and Barista were super friendly and I bought 2 bags of Raven Espresso and first thing I did when I got back home was to do a latte...best I ever had on my machine, so kudos to roaster . The Raven produces a thick creamy espresso with crema galore, perfect for latte art. That place is a hidden gem.
4 of us attended the Roasting Lab this past Friday morning and enjoyed ourselves immensely! Elio's knowledge of the industry is amazing, the coffee flavourful, and the service was amazing. Take some friends and make a morning of it! Well worth the cost! Thanks Elio. And a big thank you to Allyson as well!
What a pleasant surprise to find this place on our way past Woodstock. I even bought some green beans from the owner so my dad can home roast them. Talked a little baseball with the guys. And they make great coffee. Keep it up!
Based on espresso, and mocha coffee. Very good, flavourful , not bitter. It was a quick stop on the way home, Next time I will try the taster flight. They roast and grind the beans on site.
I've been wanting to stop here many times while traveling from Hamilton to Michigan. I am so glad that I finally did. They are right off the highway so it is a quick stop off the highway. I got a large cup of their dark roast which was super good coffee. Very friendly staff which was delightful. And I also got an Earl Gray tea with lilac syrup in it. I have to say it was quite delicious. This will be my go-to stop now as they had excellent teas and coffee.
I was so excited to have pour over coffee!! Great coffee and super friendly service. I will be back.
I love asking the baristas what's their favourite and then getting that! Today I got the hazelnut latte and DAMN! All I have to say is you gotta try it!!
