I had one look at the menu and decided that I must try this place. Went with the holiday turkey sandwich and broccoli and cheese soup. Both were excellent. My wife had a whole grain bread veggie sandwich with tater tots and both were great as well. 5-10 minute wait at most place was busy though!. Soup was steaming and it was truly one of the best "fast food" sandwiches I've ever had. Really hope this place is here to stay.
The product and concept looked very appealing so I was excited to try my sandwiches. I ordered two of them, the club and the original, and I'm glad I did because they were quite small and had to eat both of them to get my fill. I also ordered a combo with a bag of chips and a pop. After I received my meal I learned that there was the option to get some tater tots which I would have liked but was never mentioned to me. Regardless I had my sandwiches and found them to be dry and blocked texture and flavor. It seems like they are trying to Rebrand the old Quiznos concept but it didn't wow me today that's for sure. The bread is soft but on the dry side. The offerings are fairly Limited. The decor is Stark. The service was okay one gentleman was pretty friendly but nothing over the top. My meal, with two sandwiches, came to $25 and it was just mediocre. Honestly I've had much better sandwiches and I don't understand what the hype is or how this brand will differentiate itself from the other fantastic sandwich shops in the market.
I have been here several times and love it! Highly recommended. Unique sandwich combinations that are all tasty. Love the bread they use. It does not get soggy but it's not the super crusty type that cuts your mouth. Can eat in or take out. Dining area is nicely spaced out and very clean. Washrooms are also spotless. The brownies are heavenly...more like molten lava cake but not too sweet. If you order multiple sandwiches, the sticker on the outside of each wrapped sandwich makes it super easy to give everyone the right one without having to unwrap it and see what's inside. The staff have always pleasant, efficient and friendly. Shout out to the manager Sam who has always been working when I've been by and ensures customers are happy. Highly suggest you join the "Earl's club" online. You get regular coupons emailed and a free brownie no purchase required! on your birthday. The only wish I have for the company not the fault of this location is that the main website is not set up properly to allow you to order online. However, you can call the location directly to order then pick up. Parking: Ample parking outside
Came here on a Friday afternoon to pickup lunch for the family. It was a convenient location right across from our hotel. We ordered mac and cheese, chicken caesar wrap, original 1762, and the earl's club. We also made one a combo to get chips and a drink. Everything was good but everything could have used more sauces. The wrap needed more caesar dressing and the 1762 needed more horseradish. I love sandwiches but I'm not sure if I'd come back again. Service was friendly and efficient.
Ordered a meatball sandwich and received chicken avocado one even after double checking with the girl that it was meatball. Couldn't go back as I was on my lunch and waited 30min in line already. It is a new place, so I give them that it was busy. We also ordered a bacon avocado wrap. Taste just like a wrap I would make at home. The bacon is bacon bits like the ones you would buy at Costco.
My expectations where high, but I am super disappointed. I went in and bought the veggie sandwich, And it was honestly pretty good. But I found it to be incredibly salty, almost unbearably so. And how much could a veggie sandwich cost? Ten dollars? Yup, and $10 for a couple of thinly sliced vegetables is almost robbery. Most of the flavour and bite comes from the sauce and bread, neither of which I feel are worth the $10 price tag either. I’m sure their specialty isn’t their “veggie sandwich” but I wish they put a little more effort into the thing, cause right now it sure doesn’t feel like a $10 sandwich.
Really great sandwich! Super tasty. Not huge. I got the 1762, and the only reason they lost a star besides the size was because the horseradish was too strong, made it hard to fully enjoy when my nose was on fire. Mellow it out a bit and it’ll be a killer sando
Never a bad experience. Staff are friendly, food is fantastic, and it is our first choice for sandwiches! The Holiday Turkey is my favorite, but I Visit often enough to start to venture out ... Montagu is great, the Original 1762 is too.Food: 5/5
Surprised how good it was! Tried it out as we drove through Kelowna. I was worried this would just be another expensive sandwich place, but the sandwiches were really good. We tried the Holiday Turkey, Original 1762, and Earl's Club were well made and tasty. What surprised me the most was the pricing. For BC food? For Kelowna? Prices were more than fair.
Two people were sitting waiting when I entered. It still took a good 15 mins to get my food. I have had food come faster in restaurants. The sandwiches were fine. One sandwich would cover a grown man for lunch but not supper. It would take two, at a cost of around $23. I can do better for $23.
