Wish I could have given a better review. Although it was a fun place to visit there needs to be better maintenance. End of June visit to the location and the lazy river wasn’t cleaned at all, it was Full of bugs and leaves. The pool area was nice and clean I would say, which is why I gave it three stars.nnThe mini golf is a lot of fun, no doubt and the pricing is pretty good. But again it doesn’t seem to be maintained even tho there seems to be enough staff on site.nFront staff are very kind and friendly.nnVery affordable. Just needs better maintenance :
Once again difficult to rate.nnEntry fees are a bit high for what you get.nFood prices are very fair.nnKids love it.nnWell at least until we had to leave with two cuts into two people's feed. Both got them in the pool. Lifeguard said there is a texture on the ground of the pool and she would let the maintenance team know about it.nnI'm skeptical, the lazy river is always dirty, lots of dead bugs, leaves, etc. the water doesn't look clear.nThere is no real swimming pool it's all just for fun.nKids will still have to do a swim test till they are 15 years old to be allowed to move around without a grown up. -but nobody asked me if I can swim, but still being responsible. Luckily I know how to swim.nnThe splash pad got ignored by my kids. But it looked clean and had different features.nnThe orange slide is very slow unless you go down on your back/shoulder blades. But make sure to keep your head up when you get off.nnChanging Rooms / washrooms must have been disgusting for man's -but didn't see it myself only got told about it. The female one was ok but wouldn't call it clean.nnGrass Area is mostly clean but there is still some garbage flying around. Lots of natural shade around the pool area.nnWalkways are overgrown. Hidden nail right behind the pool area. One kid smashed the toe. Not too pleased.nnPlayground was enjoyed by the kids.nnLots of room for improvement.nnYou have the facility why don't just make it right.nGood starting point would be cleaning the lazy river doing operating times as well. Would be already one star extrannNext star for no more cuts in the pool area.nnAnd the last one would be given if all the little things were done properly.
A fantastic place for an afternoon with family! The concession is affordable, admission is affordable, and there are life guards everywhere, so it is very safe. I enjoy sitting and reading underneath a pergola while my children enjoy the facility.
While the pool and lazy river were ok to an extent, I rate 1 star because there were several issues that impacted our stay. First, their website and this one incorrectly indicated they opened at 10am. They actually open at 11am. Even at opening it took close to 40 minutes to enter as they have 1 staff member selling admission tickets. Only when buying admission tickets do you find out the splash pad is closed as found on a sticky note at the desk. Around the lunch rush they ran into issues cooking food and stopped selling burgers, hot dogs, sausages, etc for the rest of the day. All staff, while friendly, were teenagers. Saw no signs of ‘adult’ management, which was apparent given the number of issues seen around the park. To top it off, some parents just let their kids run wild, allowing them to jump into the pool on top of other kids. Lack of respect and parenting. Won’t be returning.
Such a lovely place in Brantford to come with kids or just by adults. Adequate parking space is available. There are different types of fees - general admission which does not allow someone to enter into any of the water activity, and another for water activity. You can top it up later if you wish to play golf. There is a play area with swings and slides, splash pad. The two water areas are one is a lazy river where you can either use your tube or rent one from the premises and float around. It can fit an adult and a child comfortably $4.50 per tube with $10 deposit, which is returned after the tube is returned. The pool has a big slide and kids are expected to pass a basic swim test. The water areas are not deep and hence no diving is allowed. 4-5 lifeguards are watching near the pool area.nThere are plenty of benches out which can be used to sit down and have a meal. However, the area is very well maintained and hence camping chairs or just mats will stretch legs and relax.nThe changing rooms and washrooms are reasonably clean. Life jackets and tubes are available to rent and a first aid counter is there too. A cafeteria with barbecue is available for some snacks and drinks are. Parking is free. The park closes by 6pm and announcements are made in advance which is very helpful to plan your exit.
