"We are a family run business, who believes in providing top quality customer service and value.We started this March 1, 2022. We were running the Three Lakes Diner as a family before a tragic fire destroyed the building. We were looking for a place to put a bakery in the Three Lakes area until a friend pointed out this site for sale. And here we are. Making bread and donuts and all kinds of good treats. I hope when you are in the area you stop in. That would be so sweet."

Joe is knocking it out of the park! She bought everything from the former owners, recipes, equipment etc… All bake goods are as good as before. I just tried her new addition, PIZZA! I loved it! She’s also expanded hours; so, if it’s late and you’re too tired to cook, Joe is open. I don’t think there are any other places in town cooking after 10:00pm. Every town needs a good bakery and Joe fills the bill. Thank you Joe!
Absolutely wonderful. To die for pecan bear claws. Chocolate chip Danish is perfection. Double chocolate chip cookie is chocolate heaven. Don't miss the sandwiches, we had grilled chicken with honey mustard on their multigrain bread and my wife said it was the best sandwich she's had in years.
Wow! This is a must stop for donuts. Better than any I'm able to pickup back home suburb of Milwaukee. Every single one was beyond moist. Kid devoured the massive cookie too.
Loved this place. Service was great but not as great as the food. We bought a variety since we were heading back to IL the next morning. All of it was yummy.
A true gem of Eagle River. Great fresh old world bakery that everyone loves. The staff is super great to line you up with your favorite bakery goods.
Always loved stopping in here every time we came to Eagle River and picking up a big box of wonderful delicious donuts. Was very disappointed when they had closed. But then was very happy when I found out they had reopened. Unfortunately customer service has gone way down hill since they have reopened. Drove 20 minutes just to get the delicious flips. Just to find out they only made a few that day. So I placed an order for some the next day they were open.Got up..drove 20 minutes to pickup my flips .. anticipating the great treat my wife and I was to have.. NOT...they didn't make them ??? Would have been nice if they called and told me... VERY DISAPPOINTED.. WILL NEVER STOP AGAIN..
Just got rye bread and want to return it but now it's turned moldy besides not being good tasting before that. Hope the new owners feed this it need to be changed. The old owners bread was great this one is not sorry
Went there after the reopening. Unfortunately we waited over 15 min for a cold breakfast sandwich while another lady came in and ordered a breakfast sandwich after us and got it in under 5 minutes. Not to mention the multiple extra donuts we had to buy because they don’t expect cards under $10. I really had higher hopes, the employees didn’t seem like they were enjoying their time and it showed in the customer service and product outcome.
Was a loyal customer prior to the change in ownership and will be a loyal customer now. Sour cream glazed donut was exceptional. All the recipes transferred. Friendly staff. Great baked goods. Looking forward to coming back over and over again!
Updating my review below. The quality of the product has improved and the bakery really seems to be getting the hang out it. Definitely worth a stop to check out the goods. --------------------------------- I was relieved to receive the notice from the new owners that the retail store portion of the bakery is re-opened in April of 2022. It's a nice place to have in Eagle River. First off, customer should know that this is not the old Eagle Bakery. So set your expectations according and realize it will not be exactly like the old bakery. I stopped in early on a Thursday morning to check it out. There was a limited selection of breads, pasties and other items. Employees were still unboxing items and putting them out. I'm not sure if items are baked on site of shipped in. I bought a couple of items and neither was very fresh. I'm going to chalk it up to the business being new and I hoping the freshness will improve over time. Employees were very friendly though and quick to serve. I plan on going back in the upcoming weeks in hope the quality of the freshness will improve. To the new owners, thank you for taking a chance on Eagle River! As a local, I really appreciate new businesses that come into the area.
