When i was there than i had no Water because it was very cold even in May. -8 degrees in the Night. Because of that i had no Water. It would have been nice when there would be an Information about that before i arrived. Nevertheless some nice People gifted me Water. Its nice to be there, nice location with the River. I had no problems with noise from the Street. There are a lot of Opportunities for hiking in the neighborhood. The campground habe some First Come first Serve Sites. In the summer it will be good to have a Reservation.
Great campground. There are several first-come, first-serve sites along the river. We arrived on BC Day, and it was mostly empty the entire week - right into the weekend. There are two sets of flush toilets and sinks for washing dishes and a few pit toilets in the campground. It is a really beautiful place. There is very little light pollution, and you can see so many stars and galaxies.
Beautiful Provincial campsite, no hookups but public flushing toilets, tap water and a community dishwashing sink. Some road noise at the sites closer to the highway. Cell service is intermittent. Sani dump station ½ km away.
Mule deer is my favourite camping spot. I generally camp here every year. It's quite beautiful with the river along many of the campsites. There are flush toilets and even sinks which I love. Privacy between campsites is decent with tree and bush cover. I often stay at double campsite M16a and M16b. We built up a little pool with rocks at that campsite so check it out and keep it maintained for all to enjoy. There are plenty of first come and first serve campsites as well so it's a good place to drop by if you are "emergency camping"
Came out here for the Canada Day long weekend 2018. From previous camping experiences on a long weekend I was expecting the place to be packed, but it was actually pleasantly quiet and not full. We reserved a site right along the river so the sound of rushing water totally drowned out any highway noise from the road. There were still several first come first serve sites along the river available as well. The camp sites were a fair size. Clean and well appointed with sturdy picnic tables, tent pads, and fire rings. I would definitely return here to call again. There were no showers, cell service, or electrical outlets which was perfect. We actually got a chance to "Get away from it all!". The outhouses however were plentiful and spiffy clean. Park staff came by regularly to clean, sell wood, and collect garbage. We felt really well taken care of. When we did need to make a wood run there was a lodge just a few minutes down the highway where we bought snacks, wood, coffee, and ice cream. They also had WiFi if you really needed it. Also at the lodge we were able to pay 5$ to use the pool, showers, steam room, sauna, towel service, and change rooms. So even though it was a chilly weekend we were able to swim indoors and get squeaky clean. There was a little Canada Day celebration at Lightning Lake nearby which was fun to swing by as well.
Amazing camping site to experience the wilderness , specially if you're close to the water, otherwise there might be a little bit of noise from the road. One downside is that there are no showers on site you'd expect a little bit more structure if you're on a campground.
We had an awesome time here. Especially our first camping in a decade. Hearing the water at night is amazing.
My favorite park! It gets insanely busy on weekends in July and August, so I recommend shoulder seasons or visiting when kids go back to school. Tons of trails, lots of wildlife to watch, friendly staff, and a resort with good food and groceries.
Quiet, but not too quiet. There is a little bit of road noise, but not too bad given how convenient it is. There is a fish toilet and sinks to wash your dishes. The park staff are also very friendly and helpful, and make pretty frequent rounds
Clean well organized. Firewood still takes me by surprise after paying $70 a cord $12 a bundle that makes one two hour fire. Friendly helpful staff. And relatively empty at this time of year.
