The woman who works the front checkin is incredibly rude not only to me but as I sat waiting to every other client who entered. As the first point of contact and someone who sees every person that walks through the door you’d think they’d be a person who liked people. This has been my experience both times I’ve been there this year.nThe bathrooms are so dirty for a medical lab!nThe people who draw my blood have been lovely and efficient.
The lady who's working at the front desk seems not happy on what she's doing. You can see it on her face, from the first day and second day of our visit she never smile!nThe rest of the staff was very nice and friendly and the person who draw blood.
The woman working at the front desk was incredibly rude. I watched her continue to be rude to every person that entered the clinic. The save your place feature doesn’t work and I had to wait a very long time after I arrived.
This place is well managed. We walked in on a Saturday, arrived at 11:50 am, there were only 4 people in front of us in the line, and the help desk called us at 11:56 am. He mentioned up front that there was a wait time for 15-20 minutes and asked us if we were okay to wait. It didn't even take that much time, and we were called in for the blood work. The staff member was very courteous and was paying lots of attention to detail. She helped us with patience and made sure she was not poking aimlessly for blood. She made sure the veins were visible enough and then only inserted the needle for blood work. When you're waiting outside, your first name is also displayed on the screen, showing your number in the queue that keeps you well informed about the wait times. The reports were made available to our GP on Monday morning.
I have visited this location as a walk-in, save my place, and with an appointment over the past couple of years. I have NEVER had less than an hour wait, even with an appointment. I have not experiences this problem at other locations. Today I got fed up and walked out after waiting an hour of the estimated service time for save my place when I found out there were still 8-10 people in front of me. I have not experienced this problem at other locations. I do not see why other labs can figure things out but the one in St. Albert is always a disaster. Don't waste your time, travel a little extra to a more organized lab.
