The DynaLIFE Medical Labs partnership provides diagnostic laboratory services to more than 2000 physicians and one million patients annually. The laboratory, locally managed from its state-of-the-art facility in Edmonton, performs more than 16 million tests every year. Our mandate is to provide high quality, cost-effective services to our clients to assist in the diagnosis and monitoring of patients’ and employees’ health. The laboratory employs the newest technologies to ensure that patients receive the best possible laboratory services.

This place is well managed. We walked in on a Saturday, arrived at 11:50 am, there were only 4 people in front of us in the line, and the help desk called us at 11:56 am. He mentioned up front that there was a wait time for 15-20 minutes and asked us if we were okay to wait. It didn't even take that much time, and we were called in for the blood work. The staff member was very courteous and was paying lots of attention to detail. She helped us with patience and made sure she was not poking aimlessly for blood. She made sure the veins were visible enough and then only inserted the needle for blood work. When you're waiting outside, your first name is also displayed on the screen, showing your number in the queue that keeps you well informed about the wait times. The reports were made available to our GP on Monday morning.
As an appointment visit, there was a little bit of a wait time on a Sunday. However, in my last 2 visits, I have been lucked out with sorcerers because my usual fainting risk was non-existent and the techs were fast, efficient and painless. I am extremely happy with the techs who've helped me with getting my bloodwork done.
I have been to this lab twice in the last month. I really appreciate the staff come in on Sunday when Sundays are usually sleep in and family days. The staff were very professional and this is the First time that I have seen a lab so Clean and Organized kudos to the staff.
This lab is clean and efficient. I know it's easy to give a great review when you get seen within 15 minutes, and wait time definitely varies.
Staff was awesome and thanked people for being patient with the long wait times, I was there Friday Jan 6 2023 around 10 am for booked appointment time was not called back by text till 10:30 and then waited another 10 mins. Lots of walk ins waiting more then an hour.
They lie about wait times. Was told 40 minutes and was there for about 2 hours. Once you get in it's quick.
Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. Update June 2022: used "hold my spot" today and everything went well. Adding a star Advance booking for an early spot e.g. 8 AM is 22 days out. Update Feb 2022: looks like the "hold my spot" feature has been added back. I don't trust it. Update Jan 2022: “hold my spot” feature has been removed. What’s the point of the online “hold my spot” feature when you get there and are told you have been bumped down the list another 60 to 90 minutes? Get rid of the feature if you can’t HOLD a spot. I find even booking days or weeks in advance you still get delayed. My experience is you are better off to book at an Edmonton location. As far as lab technicians go, never had a negative experience to date.
Always a long wait and disorganized. Appointment times mean nothing so it's best to just try to drop in. Goodluck.
I had an appointment this past Wednesday and it was a horrible time - not any fault of the staff, just the sheer wait time and the tension between other customers in line. It was hectic for staff and visitors and unfortunately one of the necessary tests was missed and I had to come back in today, Saturday. I had to use the app to save my place and I was seen after a 30 minute wait - an improvement from Wednesday. However, the main reason my visit was so pleasant today was because of Salvador. He was a ray of sunshine, he was singing, making conversation, and just a pleasure to meet. I hope I get him again when I go back for more tests next month.
Took the one staff lady three times to get a needle in me , almost passed out because of it , also they’re pretty ruff handling whoever took care of me , that one lady :/ didn’t act with care with me ..
