Staff are rough with no filter. No sense of professionalism. Prices are very fair and range balls are good quality. the grass area is better than most ranges I’ve been to in Durham. My suggestion, Get your balls and get out before you hear something that offends you. Then enjoy the range
Lolol reading the reviews. I’ve known the owner for 30 years. Yeah he can be a bit rough but I know him as an awesome guy who has been amazing to me and my family since the place opened, in the 90’s. As for the range, it’s literally the best one within 50km. So maybe relax on the owner and enjoy the great grass and fantastic range balls, all for just 10 bucks.
Love this range... 10 bucks a bucket… I always bring cash because that’s clearly what the business prefers. The owner hasn’t raised prices since I’ve been going. I was also given a free bottle of water on a hot day. Grass and mats available… tons of room/options on both sides.
Showed up for a team event to hit some golf balls before playing. Cashier was great and friendly offered us the 7 baskets to hit and said we were okay to split them between us. Owner came in cursing out his employee and ourselves for asking to do so. I asked if we could just buy individual baskets for everyone and he refused and called the police. Said we were trespassing and when we were just paying customers . Would never recommend this to anyone, I personally will never go back. Management/owner needs to seek professional help.
Disc golf course is great for beginners or experienced players. Good for a quick round. Needs some maintenance to direct players to next hole, but great venue. Update: Still a great course... beginners and experienced alike can enjoy this course.
Great 18 hole "intermediate" Disc Golf course, love the fact its close to Whitby. Its white tees, all par threes with some 400+ holes to get your drivers out. Lost and found discs are located in the club house.
I would like to share my experience, but it's so bad I'd rather not think of it anymore. It stresses me out just thinking about how self righteous and disrespectful this golf course owner was to us. Guy has an anger issue and stinks of booze. I was enjoying the sport, but this put a big damper on the game for me.
We were visiting in town and looking for a Disc Golf course. Came across this 18 hole Disc Golf course. Very nicely laid out with 2 sets of tees for different skill levels and it had a well groomed fairway. Owner did not charge us to play. While looking around at the golf part, we noticed that there is a huge section of real grass for the golf range, which sometimes is hard to come by. We really liked that. We noticed the pricing was very good for the range, $10/bucket. And bonus there is a small plane airport nearby, so every 5 minutes or so there is a plane coming in to land. We had a great time and will be back!
Had a good practice session at the range. Balls are a decent price and the place has good grass as well as mats. I will return.
Staff were friendly and prices were reasonable. I believe it was just over $40 for 4 buckets of balls at the driving range. It was quite busy but we were still able to get on right away. Tee boxes for driving range weren't in great shape. The balls would not stay on the tees on 2 of our 3 tee boxes but worked fine for hitting off the mat.
