The parking is ridiculous there. I didn’t even see a ticket on my car or receive any type of mail but I just found out they brought my unpaid fine that I was not informed of to collections… ruining students credit is insane, maybe if they put it into my school account I would’ve A. seen that I owed anything in the first place and B. Not have my credit ruined while I’m working 3 jobs trying to pay this places tuition in the first place. Pure greed displayed by the cost of the parking pass there and they still give me tickets that will ruin my credit?????
I reached out to Durham College over a week ago with a simple inquiry about one of their courses—no response to this day. If this is how they handle prospective students, I can only imagine how poorly they treat those actually enrolled. The complete lack of communication is unprofessional and reflects extremely poorly on the institution. It feels like they’re running a disorganized, second-rate operation. If I could give zero stars, I would. I genuinely feel bad for anyone who invests their time or money here expecting quality service or education. Avoid.

I was a student here for 8 months and I absolutely enjoyed my program , faculty and classmates. It was an overall positive experience and by far one of the best academic experiences I have had being a student for the past 20 years
My girlfriend has been waiting for a month and a half for the school to send her documents to prove she has finished the nursing course. She has a job opportunity at Oshawa hospital which will be lost because of the incompetency of the college faculty. Cannot get a hold of anyone to resolve the issue. Spent 3 years and a ton of money to get her RPN and they can’t even forward a couple documents. Clowns. All of them
