This place has so many good reviews that I almost didn't believe them. I stopped in while traveling through the area and was treated so well. Toni, Crystal and Cookie all took part in giving me one of the best dining experiences I ever had. Crystal took her time answering any questions about the menu, asked me questions to help her make the merfect suggestions on what to order and why and was very attentive. Seafood Pasta was amazing as was the prawn appetizer. There were flavorful surprises in evrey bite, from the home made roll with I think honey, pineapple whipped butter, the salad with cinnamon brine carrot, to the main course of pasta. Oh! And the Old Fashioned was simply amazing! Do yourself a favor, make a reservation and dine here. I'm sure that this place will be here for another 103 years.
Wow! Do not judge a book by its cover. This place is indeed a hidden gem on Highway 101 East of Port Angeles! If you drove from Sequim into Port Angeles before, you might have seen this lonely yellow cottage along the side of Highway 101 and passed it without even noticing it’s a restaurant. Dupuis Restaurant aka Mariner's Landing Restaurant is a must-stop when visiting Sequim or Port Angeles. The restaurant is considered a historic landmark. It was established in 1920 and now with new ownership and a team full of passion and dedication to its customers and delicious entrees. On top of that, you are getting first-class customer service! Dupuis provides a unique ambiance! Once you step your foot in the door, it is like a world of magical curiosity. You will not find a distinctive place like this anywhere else: from its interior, and detailed decorations to its one-of-a-kind menu. Each dish is favorable. It was so fresh, good, and delicious that everything just melts in your mouth. The creme brûlée bread pudding is to die for! There is no diet when it comes to this place. This place is absolutely out of this world! Check out this hidden gem if you are heading in that direction. Reservations are recommended but not necessary.
what a gem! I had the oysters stew that was just amazing! then the seafood gnocchi which was so good and filling, I'd like less gnocchi and more seafood but overall a really good seafood restaurant!
Don't be fooled! The old-school exterior made me pause, but the service, drinks, and food kept me smiling after every bite. Traveling alone for my birthday I wanted to treat myself to a nice seafood dinner and I wasn't disapointed in the Dupuis. I enjoyed a sidecar cocktail, garden salad, fresh bread and whipped butter, seafood gnocchi, and creme brulee bread pudding. It's the small things that make a great dinner experience, like crisp ice water, strong drinks, and housemade dressing. If you come in the off season like I did November don't worry about a reservation, just pull in and prepare to be pampered : Parking: side of restaurant, probably about 15 spots
Because of recommendations from friends, we have been trying to reserve a table here for some time only to be thwarted by COVID closures. Last night we were successful and it was well worth the wait. Worrying that it would not live up to the hype, this indiscreet building opens up into a farmhouse vibe that magically warms your heart. We were immediately acknowledged by the manager and seated. The service was friendly, more than accommodating and could not have been better. Hats off to Crystal! Equal attention was given to a simple, yet exquisite fare that more than rivaled the "high-end" restaurants in the area we have experienced lately. Drinks were generous and served quickly. Our table ordered a steak that was perfectly cooked, tender and tasty and the accompanying whipped yams were equally as scrumptious. The shrimp-stuffed Pacific cod was served as a very large and delightful portion that I would definitely order in future visits. And the desserts? Definitely make room for this! The restaurant certainly lived up to all of the hype and we plan on making this eatery a habit. Cheers to the owner, the chef and the staff. A true diamond in the rough!
I have lived on this Peninsula for over 20 years and have driven past this place 100's of times and never stopped. That being said ,my wife and I decided to try this place out. This place is AMAZING! It's historical significance alone and atmosphere are unmatched. The servers and waitstaff are top notch and EVERYTHING you consume is made in house. Our server Erin was very welcoming and informative. Prices may seem a bit steep but what this place offers is worth every penny. RESERVATIONS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! This place is that good.
Amazing food, fair prices, truly welcoming and delightful service. Every dish was so amazing. Their soup of the day beef vegetable soup was so amazing, my husband and I couldn’t give enough compliments and secretly wished we could bring a huge pot of it home to sip for the rest of our ONP trip! Thanks for making our first anniversary trip night so relaxing and wonderful! Definitely a spot I’ll come back to every time I make it to this part of the state.
I had never been here before, and my first impression was the place looked small. The food was some of the best I've had. This is a place you really have to try!
Wonderful restaurant. Great food. Our server couldn't have been nicer. The restaurant is bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. The place has real charm. It's been there since the 1920's!Food: 5/5
We ordered the halibut fish and chips special. Everything was amazing and very filling. This picture doesn’t do the amount justice The beef, mushroom, kale soup was incredible. The fish and chips were the perfect blend of crispy and soft. The waitress was very nice. She offered to take our picture when she found out it was our anniversary. My wife an I are going to be talking about this place for a long time.
