Very wild and quiet! Nice view on the mountains. The hike is easy. You have to drive through the campsite and you will find a parking lot. The home starts in the woods and goes to the edge of the sand dunes. We can do down very easily or take some pictures from the top. Enjoy your hike
Very beautiful area just spectacular for birding!!! Witnessed a Harrier on the hunt in the field to the left as you drive in up the hill before campground. It was magical!!!
I love this place. It's educational. It's a great walk. The beach is so beautiful. My daughter and I just did a day hike but we plan to go back and camp.
Great place to visit with family. Lots of trails. Well kept park. Parking can be sparce on a nice weekend.
Nice County park with a variety of trails, and a campground. If you want to walk on the beach, that is available at the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge. Entry fee is $3 per carload up to 4 people, or free with an America The Beautiful Pass.
Absolutely beautiful. Well worth the drive onto the Olympic peninsula, even for a day trip. I'm considering going back just to stay here again.
