This was the worst moving experience of my life!!!!! 10 months later, I am still finding damage from this move. Yesterday I went to put the extensions in the kitchen table and realized the damage they had done. they were ill-equipped, argumentative and incompetent, even though I asked them whether they had experience with pianos and organs. The youngest fellow was found lying-in my bed, claiming to be tired, The "boss" was wheeling and dealing on his headset phone the entire time he was moving me; and thus, not focused on the move, They came without adequate materials and grabbed my blanket to wrap a piece f furniture. Every piece of furniture has a scratch on it. Although I labeled my Boxes and numbered them so that I could find items easily, they threw them in the apartment upside down . The boss was loud, cocky and rude- when I pointed out the scratches on the bookshelves, he responded, "That's what you get for shopping at IKEA," he also found reasons to charge me "penalties." even though I Know I sent him photos of my stuff, he claimed that I didn't and so charged a penalty. Only one of the three was professional. I should have trusted my gut with my first inquiry. He had a fake accent. I went with him because it was supposedly a flat rate. I should have gone with another company that I had felt good about, and have since used to move one of my instruments.
Reliable, responsible and professional! Moved 2 pieces of furniture and a piano. Prince is very easy to deal with! Polite, quick on response, flexible! Really appreciate his service and help! Highly recommend!
I cannot say enough good things about their customer service! Our fridge broke and we bought a new one, but couldn't be delivered for another week and we were hosting a dinner party at our place on the weekend. I called around to many junk removal and moving companies and Dumonde was the first to answer. I asked if they could deliver the new fridge and they said yes, and that they would even take the old one away! After a few issues that arose with the appliance store and our building concierge, I had sent many back and forth emails to Jem from Dumonde and she was so helpful and patient as I had to keep changing dates/times. Due to renovations in our building, we had to arrange for after hours delivery for an extra fee. After the appointment was booked, the building manager contacted me to say that we could actually get the fridge delivered any time using an alternate route. Dumonde was fully booked during the day now, but said they would try to get us the fridge earlier if possible. They ended up delivering it around 2:30pm, so we didn't have to pay extra for the after hours delivery. They went above and beyond at every step. The delivery guy even offered to clean our floors after! We declined, as we were already grateful enough that they were able to deliver our fridge earlier than originally booked for, but I thought he was amazing just for offering! Thanks for the great service and reliability! We will definitely use you again for any of our moving needs!
