Ducky's Roti

Was really looking forward to eating some nice Trini food and was sadly disappointed. Service was great and food prepared fresh and fast. Ample portions However taste was so bland, seasoning very toned down or non existent, pumpkin was really squash no flavor, Dahl no geerah or salt and same for potato and channa. Paratha- way too much flour used not the melt n your mouth crispy on the outside roti it should be. No passion or love put into the food. Will stick to Leila's and Drupatee's for real Caribbean food. Very sad representation of Caribbean food!

Best chicken roti in South Etobicoke, lots of other options just as good on the menu. The owners are always friendly and ready for a good conversation. There is nothing quite like these smaller, family run and home cooked restaurants.

I had the boneless goat roti, as well as my co worker, and we both agreed that this stop was worth it.. The freshness and quality of the ingredients came through in the sampling.. so very happy with the meal selection and satisfaction regarding value, taste, and smell amongst other factors.. Would definitely purchase again..

I visited here before some years ago, we went to a store my brother told me about with affordable prices the lady stocked everything imaginable and her labels it seemed to be from England a few doors down there is Roti shop roti is almost like pita bread and curry all along Lakeshore Parking: There are parking meters along Lakeshore $1.00 for an hour Wheelchair accessibility: Car in to store there aren't any stairs

This review is strictly for "Roti & Doubles" The portion was a good size. Kind of bland, could have used more curry. I didn't eat it all at once, I had some the next day, still felt the same way. If I really need a roti I'll be back but I'm looking for somewhere else. Could definitely be cleaner inside. Very close to what I consider a classic roti but the flavour is more like savory and broth like where as expected more curry. The doubles are pretty good.. the chick pea filling is too wet though and very messy.. but the flavour is good of what you do get in your mouth. Not what I consider a classic double, but it will do if Im craving for doubles.

The owners at Ducky's Roti are very humble and genuine people. The food is great and they allow you to add your own spice-level to their food their Pepper Sauce is tasty but SUPER SPICY [for Me]. Also, the food is very reasonably priced and the portions are good. The ONLY thing is that, they are CLOSED on the weekends and I feel that, they can get more customers if they had at least one of the days OPEN. I often get the Doubles, Chicken or Beef Roti and ADD vegetables/squash.

Kind staff, great food at great prices compared to other Caribbean restaurants. I go here pretty often and no complaints yet.
