I've been hiring Marie to do my tax returns for 9 years, and she has always done a really good job with them, even as they've gotten more complex over the years. (Getting married, moving to Wisconsin, buying a house, selling and buying a new house, and having a baby). She has a really quick turnaround if you submit before March. I cannot vouch for rapidness after that as I've never submitted mine after March, but if you're on top of things, she's very quick with them.

I was very disappointed with the service I've received from Marie. My company was hit with a W2 phishing scam where a third party got a hold of everyone's W2's for the year. I informed Marie how urgent of an issue this W2 scam was - within days of the scam 22 people in my organization had been affected by fraudulent tax filing and stealing their returns. I was informed that I should file my taxes ASAP so I contacted Marie. Other coworkers of mine told me stories of how their tax accountants were taking steps to ensure their protection, but I got no such thing from Marie. In fact, I got an exact opposite response. That is, "I'll get to it when I get to it." I understand Marie is probably overwhelmed with all the tax returns she needs to file. However, she needs to learn to distinguish between an emergency and normal day to day stuff. I will be taking my taxes elsewhere next year.
