It was a very comfortable place to enjoy a drink and dinner. The Scotch Egg was well done. The Pickle Wraps are unique with a tasty dip. The Pun fries were perfectly fried. The Southern Irishman Burger had good BBQ brisket topping it.
Always love the atmosphere at Drake's. My cocktail was yummy. I had the Brisket Mac n Cheese. Delicious!!! There was enough left over that my hubby had it for supper the next evening and he said it was really good.
We went there on a Thursday night. We were one of 2 tables in the entire place and 2 people were at the bar. It's never great to see a completely empty restaurant at 6:30pm. The service was nice but extremely slow. I think it was because our server had to go make our drinks? I liked the scotch egg, but my husband said it wasn't as good as other places. The fries are amazing! Best fries I've ever had! The buffalo chicken salad was a joke. A lettuce head cut into 4 pieces and had barely any ingredients. My husband picked this place for his birthday and said he was disappointed and will never come back. I liked the fries, so I might come back to eat those. Oh, also it says on their menu: TIP YOUR SERVERS IN CASH. That is so trashy to put that on your menu.
Had a blast at Drake's last night. Food and service was outstanding, as always. Played PINGO pub bingo which was all kinds of fun. Even won some good swag and giftcards! Can't wait to go back.
Love the food. Great service. Liquor menu is great but was out of a particular beer we wanted. Food menu is good, looks yummy, but not a huge variety. We like it here.
Drake O'Neill's was our favorite place in the area. The staff has always been friendly, the atmosphere relaxed and the food par excellence. We were saddened to hear that they would be rebranding with a complete menu change. I hope the owners will reopen Drake O'Neill's. If they do try their massive and delicious burgers.Food: 5/5
Yum! It's so nice to have an Irish American restaurant closer to the North Suburbs. I love that it is family owned! The food was fantastic and the staff is friendly. I cannot wait to go back soon. Also, the drinks were on point!

Irish Pub with great food and a super friendly staff. Our server came up with three drinks for our table with only vague directions - like something fruity with vodka for me, and whatever the others wanted for the base - and they were all winners. Generous portions of food, I am posting 4 pictures. We'll be back!
Fantastic little Irish Pub! Everything is made from scratch in house and you could tell. We had the Reuben egg rolls my husband had a Reuben sandwich and I got the special that was a French dip. We thought everything was super good !!! I also as you can tell I got the house bloody Mary with infused vodka infused Bloody Mary mix which I thought was very very good! My sandwich had just the right amount of meat cheese and grilled onions on a delicious pretzel bun, with perfectly cooked onion rings and house made are you was going to ask, it was fantastic! They are a little bit spendy but I believe it's because everything is from local farmers and that tends to raise the cost of groceries. it is definitely worth the price!!
