Its a cute date idea. It's upstairs and can't wait for the patio to ve open. Looks like they have a small area for a musician small band. Lots of seating and the food was good. I love their wings. They are great naked and there sauces are good too. Wings are thick and big. Fries are delicious!!!!!
Great place! All of the games were working and we had a blast! We drove down from Monroe and will be doing so again. The Funny Bone next door has some big names so next time, me and the wife will be having a date night; an arcade attached to a great comedy club is a fun night. We didn't eat here and I don't drink so I can only speak on the games, that being said I would complain over $4 pops but the girls are so nice and don't pressure you to buy things etc that I'll keep it at a 5-star.
Unfortunately, as of FEB 3rd 2023 I can't give the DraftCade a recommendation. First visit since they turned it into the Draftcade. Entry fee 8 bucks each which covers the "game fees". The place was pretty dead for mid Saturday afternoon with a few people at the bar and a family or two playing games. So the atmosphere wasn't very inviting from the jump. Seems like the owners thought they could stick some arcades in there and that would bring in the crowds? No new decor, no music, nothing even interesting on the TVs while you sit at the bar or dine... that was a little surprising . Also, only one of the pinball games worked and a few of the standup arcades were out of order as well. IMO, you have to be diligent about maintenance if you're going to charge people to play them. After reading older reviews, it seems the games haven't been working in some time, but yet, they keep charging to play? Spending more money on food and alcohol at this place in particular is predicated on the games being fully functional. After 16 bucks to get in, another 30 on 2 beers, 2 "small" Jack n Cokes, we cashed out. The bartenders were attentive and quick. The wristband girl at the door was very nice too. This definitely falls on ownership. I'll be happy to stop back in the summer to see if anything has changed and I'll be happy to update this review if we have a better experience. Fingers crossed. I want to love this place, because it's my kinda concept.
We paid for our wrist bands & the girl who we gave our $ to just walked away not giving us our wrist bands then was annoyed when we asked her for them. 1 working pinball machine, & a lot of the games were out of order. We sat at a table but never got a server to come to our table although she did go to one of the tables that was a few tables away from us. We were only in that place for about 20 minutes.
I want to rate this place higher because the food and service was solid. But the arcade machines are in need of some TLC. They have some really cool deep cut cabinets but the majority I played had some buttons and sticks that wouldn't register inputs correctly.
Game selection is OK, mostly '80s and early '90s machines. Pinball tables in desperate need of service, most of them just don't work. Overhead music blares over all the arcade machines. Kitchen was closed.
Food was excellent. The Colossal onion rings were no joke. My kids had a blast here too. They had one of my favorite games from my childhood here. Definitely would recommend.
I want to love this place, but simply can't. The concept is great, but they fail to pull it off. I've been multiple times, and each time they had exactly one working pinball game. Likewise, the food is not good at all. On one occasion, their website indicated that children were currently allowed at all hours but they turned me away because I had my son with me. We had friends already inside who came out and indicated that they were literally the only people there. When we asked the young girl at the front desk if she could make an exception because they were dead and their website indicated all ages were currently welcome, she got angry with us. We had interrupted the conversation she was having on her cell phone and she just wanted us gone. She looked at us and annoyingly indicated "ummm....there's like a sign on the door". We explained that we understood, but that their only customers were getting ready to leave with us because we couldn't bring our son in. Again here response was, this time pointing and picking her phone back up, "ummmm....there's a sign on the door".
Nice time, decent food but overall costly. For 2 adult wrist bands, a shared club sandwich, and only 1 beer the tab was almost $36.00. That stated, the food was edible and arrived quickly - while the arcade was not too busy, there was a show at Funnybone so the staff was hustling. Games are OK for a bit of nostalgia, only one or 2 were not powered up. Of the 7 pinball machines there were 2 that were not functioning. We would go back.
Bartenders working extremely hard to keep up. Do not buy the wristbands, every person that walked in was able to play games. Supposed to be 21 & over after 7pm, but kids 10-12 were still in there running around at 9pm. Only 1 pinball machine works & taps 21-34 for beer were not available.
