Dr Sorin Boeriu

Dr. Sorin Boeriu is hands down the best periodontist and dental implant specialist and I highly recommend him. I've been his patient for a very long time. He is not only professional, super knowledgeable and experienced, but he brings kindness, patience and care to his patients. I had surgeries, grafts, implants, crowns, extractions, root canals, fillings done and he is a master. He's an excellent surgeon with amazing staff around him - always friendly and efficient! Thank you Dr Sorin Boeriu and team for all your help and patience with my dental issues!

I have been going to Dr. Boeriu for more than 10 years , he is a specialized, knowledgeable surgeon with genuine personality, I recommend Dr Boeriu 100% ! Also Dr. Boeriu have an awesome office, fantastic staff and all appointments were pain free. Dr. Boeriu is a true professional and fantastic at what he does, from a simple procedure to the most complex surgical intervention. I didn’t see a dentist as a child & by the time I was old enough to pay for my own treatment there was a lot of work that needed to be done. After seeing what I was told was a ‘restorative specialist’ and having them ‘fix’ my front teeth I was too embarrassed to smile anymore. Dr. Boeriu was patient, kind and worked with me to ease my insecurities. Him, his lab tech and the fabulous crowns they made gave me back my smile. I will be forever grateful & recommend them every chance I get!

No easy way to explain this but I was insulted by a Dr. Boeriu after being overcharged. I called in to the office Monday August 08 to figure out why I was overcharged and left a voicemail, no one got back to me. I called again Thursday August 11 and spoke with the rude receptionist which you all know I'm sure and asked her to please clarify the overcharge, she was dismissive, talked over me and told me to call my insurance. Called my insurance they advised me I need to speak to the Dr about re-submitting the claim so I don't have to pay out of pocket. I called again to the Dr office and spoke to the rude receptionist again, like every up hill battle I struggled to get a word in and asked for a manager because she dismissed me once more. The rude receptionist at first did not want to comply to give me the managers name and phone number, after I asked how would the Dr feel about you not providing this info she backtracked and said she did not hear my question. The rude receptionist eventually gave me manager Corina's name and office number and advised me she would call me back when she is available. A week went by so today Thursday August 18 at 7:30 AM I went into the office to see if I could speak to Dr Boeriu to straighten things out. I walked in and was greeted by the rude receptionist who tried to dismiss me and advised me Corina can help me, I respectfully declined since Corina failed to contact me for a week and wanted to speak directly with Dr. Boeriu. After 15 minutes Dr. Boeriu came out of the back looking annoyed and frustrated. I introduced myself and placed my hand out for a handshake which he gripped very firmly to intimidate me. I quickly picked up the gravity of the situation. Dr. Boeriu walked me into the first empty office where I stood at the door frame and he stood inside listening to my appeal. I asked Dr. Boeriu if he could resubmit the charge to insurance again so this way he can get paid and I would not have to pay out of pocket, he responded by cutting me off "No! that's how we bill". I made another attempt and asked if he could credit it or wave the fee as this might not effect his thriving practice much but it would effect me during these unprecedented times. At this moment he said "have a nice day buddy" threw the folded invoice into my chest and shoulder checked me as he stormed through the door frame. Not sure if this qualifies as assault but Dr. Boeriu try to intimidate me and strong armed me after I tried to negotiate with him. Please avoid this place if you do not want to deal with a tyrant Dr that rules his practice with an iron fist. God Bless.

Dr. Boeriu is very kind, knowledgeable and professional. He has been my dentist for over 15 years and I know my teeth are in good hands. Lumi and the rest of the staff is always friendly and efficient with booking my appointments and billing issues. Thank you all for your care!

I would highly recommend Dr. Boeriu. He extracted a tooth for me and was quick and efficient. The whole time he made sure I felt nothing and even called to check on me after. I can tell he truly cares for his patients.

Dr. Boeriu and his team were truly the most humble and respectful team of professionals I have ever met. My mom had to have an extraction procedure done which I was very nervous about as I did not know what to expect and I didn't know what the actual procedure involved. Dr. Boeriu personally reached out to me and was able to address any concerns I had, and was really able to comfort me. He truly is a very highly skilled professional. My mom and I could not be any happier with the result and I highly recommend Dr. Boeriu to anyone out there!

Stay away from this place if you want to save your teeth. This dentist will recommend useless unnecessary treatments. Went in to get a crown for a chipped tooth on day of fitting permanent crown the technician came and said I need a root canal to break my healthy tooth to make space for his false one.Dr Boeriu didn't even bother to come and sit down and explain the pros and cons of the treatment why it's medically necessary and that doing the root canal will only give a max life of 10 years to the tooth vs not doing root canal and getting a lifetime out of the tooth. I had to schedule a second appointment and ask him these questions myself because you could see he wanted to avoid the negative aspects of the root canal and telling me the truth about the treatment so I would agree to it. Immediately I knew something smelled fishy since this treatment came out of nowhere. The crown was made huge and bulky and absolutely atrocious. I went to get a second opinion and was told a root canal is not needed and they make teeth all sizes to fit no need to destroy a healthy tooth for a fake one..... I didn't appreciate at all the surprise treatment and do not appreciate they put you on the spot to make such a permanent decision without giving you really time to think twice and get a second opinion so they can make a quick buck.Luckily I went with my gut and will not be coming back for more services. Terrible dentist and terrible service. Doesn't have any care in the world for the health of your tooth if they can make a fast dollar. I have since then moved to a different dentist to fix the botched crown.... If I could give 0 stars I would . I can't stress enough to people to avoid this butcher at all cost and never accept a treatment when you have to decide on the spot . This is a pressure sales tactic and not professional especially when they are vague and don't explain the good and bad about the treatment. I have heard from alot of people say bad things about this dentist and refused to listen. But I have learned my lesson and will avoid this place like the plague. Dr Boeriu should be investigated seriously and thoroughly for malpractice. This man is a walking , talking butcher.
