Dr. Roy Mathews

Dr Mathews performed surgery on my bunion and tailor's bunion 4 years ago. My feet were terrible. His surgery was a resounding success! I have had no issues 4 years post-surgery. I am now scheduled to have my other foot done as well. I trust him completely! His staff are extremely helpful and accommodating.

BEST PODIATRIST. I have seen many podiatrists over the years due to issues in my feet. Dr. Matthews is BY FAR the most caring, thoughtful and action-oriented podiatrist I have met on my long journey. Due to intense pain, with previous podiatrists I have left feeling confused and in tears as I never felt heard, and my pain was made to be minimized. Dr. Matthews was the only one who listened and took time to help me get to the right resources, tests and treatments. I highly recommend Dr. Matthews to anyone looking for a high quality podiatrist.

I had bunions for years, but I was scared to have the surgery. I heard so many horror stories from people. Then my friend told me to see Dr Mathews. I went to see him , he explained to me what was going to happen , I felt so good after I spoke to him. Well I finally had my right foot done, all I can say it was AMAZING!! It wasn’t painful at all. The only thing I regret is I should of done it about 15 years ago. Dr Mathews and his staff were so professional and great. I will be doing my next foot in January.

Few days ago, I saw DR. Matthews on unrelated matter to my bunion surgery which was done 21 years ago! I am eternally grateful to Dr. Mathews for his surgical skills, professional & personal attention, which allowed me & continue to enjoy walking, skiing, dancing that 21 years ago were not possible. My experience with Dr. Mathew's was very good. From the first zoom meeting he explained exactly what was involved with the bunion surgery and what would be involved with recovery. I followed all of his directions and have healed up lovely. I would highly recommend Dr. Mathew's for bunion surgery.

Have been lucky to be treated by Dr. Mathews for several years now. He takes his time diagnosing but also educating and creating a treatment plan for you. I went in with foot pain and came out learning about foot mechanics, proper stretching, what to look for when purchasing footwear and how to stay pain free. The front end staff is friendly and supportive in helping with appointments, paperwork , insurance forms etc. If you are in need of a podiatrist this is your clinic and Dr. Mathews is your man.

I went to Dr. Mathews ten years ago, when I was 19, with very developed bunions in both of my feet. I was in constant pain and needed a permanent solution in order to gain enjoyment out of my life as a young woman. Not being able to walk for longer than 20 minutes without horrible foot pain did not suit my lifestyle! Dr. Mathews was very kind to me, he treated me with dignity and respect, he was super informative about the procedure, and he was friendly and engaged with me as a patient as well as with my parents at the time. We decided to operate on the foot that was causing the most pain my left and the surgery was so successful it’s almost unbelievable. Ten years later my left foot is still pain-free, barely visible scar, and a fond memory of being treated so well by Dr. Mathews and his staff he had all of the early Indiana Jones movies to choose from so I could have something to watch during the surgery, naturally I chose Temple of Doom. Classic. It was honestly fun and relaxing - I felt so well cared for. I recently decided that I need to have the bunion surgery on my right foot now and on a whim I tried finding the same wonderful person who did such a great job the first time, and I am so excited to work with him again. Truly, thank you so much Dr. Mathews.

Dr. Mathews is my favourite podiatrist. Not only that he fixed my feet problems that multiple Doctors couldn't, but he also shared his interesting stories, so in his office I got great service in pleasant atmosphere. If I could give him 10 , I would. Thank you Dr. Mathews!
