A gun from from my grandfather has deep sentimental value. Voting against the gun registry was smart, Kellie. I'm not a member of the Cdn National Rifle Assoc. nor plan on making a donation to them. I agree with you that firearms classifications should NOT be the sole purview of the RCMP, need input by various Canadian citizens including those who use guns — farmers, sports shooters, and hunters — as well as law enforcement. Let's reduce paperwork and administration. It's cheaper to issue gun licenses for 10 yrs to law-abiding gun owners. Thank you for your ongoing support.

Supporting small and mid-sized business owners to create an environment to create more jobs and reduce paperwork (red tape) is helpful. Hold the government accountable. Keep advocating for the little guy.

"Mr. Speaker, Health Canada spends hundreds of millions of dollars every year to encourage Canadians to stop smoking. Now the government wants Canadian kids to have access to a drug to smoke, marijuana. Parents are scared and concerned for their children. The government is sending out mixed signals. On the one hand, it claims it wants to enforce the law, but on the other hand, it has not appealed the B.C. decision to allow marijuana in the hands of children. Will the Minister of Health take responsibility for this action and compel her colleague the Minister of Justice to appeal this decision? Will she step forward with me to protect Canadian kids from this mind-altering drug?" House of Commons speech
