Dr. Daniel Cameron, MD, MPH is a board certified internist and epidemiologist with a private practice in Westchester County, New York - Dr. Daniel Cameron & Associates. He is a nationally recognized leader for his expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of Lyme disease and other tick borne infections.

Dr. Cameron has been treating patients with tick borne diseases for more than 30 years and treats both children and adults. He is one of the founders of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS) and the organization's past President.

Dr. Cameron has published numerous scientific papers and is the lead author on ILADS' evidence-based treatment guidelines. He has presented at international medical conferences and seminars on tick borne diseases and is a passionate advocate for patients.

My daughters experience with Dr. Cameron was NOT GOOD at all and I am really upset at the treatment we have received. My daughter has been having difficulties with her legs for the past 5 months and we have tried EVERYTHING, pediatrician, infectious disease specialist, rheumatologist, neurologist, neuro muscular specialist and Dr. Cameron. She has been tested repeatedly for numerous diseases as well as Lyme and tested negative every time, when we heard about Dr. Cameron, we finally felt like we were going to get some answers and unfortunately Dr. Cameron sat down and talked with my daughter for 20 minutes, never did ANY tests and after speaking with her decided that she needed a 30 day dose of antibiotics which unfortunately have done nothing. Now, after 30 days, Dr. Camerons office has called back to schedule her follow up visit. Not only did I pay him almost $900 the first time around but now they want $350 and she is no better what so ever. When I spoke with the scheduler for the appointment, I expressed my displeasure and she could basically have cared less, it was obvious she had heard my complaint before, Not Happy At All.

I can't recommend Dr. Cameron enough! Doxycycline + natural remedies were not working on my daughter's complicated case. She spent many months being told it was in her head or working with Lyme natural remedies that were unfortunately not having a positive impact on her health. When my daughter came to Dr. Cameron she was on crutches because her legs could not hold her up, her arthritis was so bad she would cry out in pain, she was having mini seizures, heart palpitations, migraines where she would scream in pain, severe brain fog, even blacking out, and she was unable to attend school. Under Dr. Cameron's care it became clear she had 3 tickborne illnesses. She is being treated for all three, and roll forward a year, and she is now able to finish weeks of school without trouble, she is playing baseball and steadily growing stronger. Dr. Cameron gave me my daughter back. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Dr. Cameron is knowledgeable and kind; his office staff are excellent - also knowledgeable and very efficient. If you need a Lyme doctor (and you can afford!), I highly recommend him.

Dr. Cameron saved my life. He took the time to get to know me, to assess all of my symptoms, and to provide me with a comprehensive course of treatment. He was extremely personable and had a great bedside manner. He does have a dry sense of humor at times, but I so appreciated it, as he got me to laugh at myself when I was feeling down. The entire practice was set up to help us all to receive state-of-the-art Lyme treatment. Please, if you have any questions regarding his level of expertise, commitment to the treatment of patients with Lyme, or his integrity, go to the ILADS website and read for yourselves. Dan Cameron is a HERO. Nothing less. Just my opinion, but I can honestly say I'm not sure if I'd be here today to tell you all of this if it wasn't for him.
