Not sure how the one person gave 5 stars. After sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes, got less than 5 minutes with the doctor and wasn’t allowed to say a word. No discussion, no questions, just that there will be a prescription at my drugstore….good bye! I will call my family doctor to get a different referral. Someone that actually wants to listen and help. BRUTAL!!!
Staff and Dr. friendly and helpful. 5 minutes in the waiting room, 5 minutes until I saw the nurse, same for the Dr. I would recommend them to anyone.
Lol to those who got 5 minutes with her...I'm jealous! I received 3.5 minutes. Not sure how you can go over someone's history and diagnosis in 3.5 mins? Waste of time will be going to see someone else again. 4 years of wasting health care dollars. Does the government even care she gets all that money a visit. If appointment was at best $300 for OHIP that's $100 a minute! No doctor is worth that! I spent an hour driving with fuel $2.05 for that ...something is not adding up, except her wallet!
I was really nervous to visit a dermatologist as I never had before. I am SO pleased and happy with my experience, from all of the staff to Dr. Christie Freeman. I was validated, heard and actually given exactly what I went in to get. She was so calm and fun. I got extremely good vibes from all of the staff and her. I am SO pleased. I saw the negative reviews and was very nervous - you really can’t base off how your experience might be based on someone’s experience. I am so happy! Thank you for such a great experience.
I had a first-ever appointment at Dr. Freeman's dermatology clinic, booked 2-3 months ago, referred from another clinic that suggested a dermatologist to make a diagnosis with possible treatment. Overall, the process was quick and very efficient. I was in/out the clinic in less than 20 mins. However, I did not feel welcome and felt there was some inexplicable enmity towards me from the receptionist and Dr. Freeman herself. My genuine questions or concerns or comments were met with what seemed to be both impatience and irritation. And the appointment definitely felt rushed. Male, 28, white
I would give zero stars if possible. I went to see this doctor with a rash that started in my hair and was slowly spreading to my forehead. She spoke to me for less than five minutes, didn't read the initial notes that I gave to her assistant and then told me it appeared as classic acne. She gave me a cream that made the condition worse. I scheduled a follow up which was no different than our initial experience. 4 months later, the problem had spread across my whole face and I developed an infection. I then had to take antibiotics for 3 months and had serious scarring afterwards. I made a third appointment after the ordeal just to share my level of disappointment and frustration with her negligence. Not to mention how traumatizing the experience was as a 26 year old. I showed her pictures of my skin ,when it was at the worst the scarring was quite visible on my face as well, which she acknowledged but had nothing more but an empty sorry. This was in 2016.
My experience with Dr. Christine Freeman was the absolutely worse. The only emotion i felt dealing with the office was "judged" and got discriminated against for my tattoos. Ive kept my patience's with them for about a yeah but with no results and kept getting the 'run around", clearly she does not know what she is doing or has very low empathy towards her patience of "low class". I would not suggest her to anyone.
Dr. Freeman was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. She was thorough in her examination. The patient that felt discriminated against for having tattoos...ummm, she's a dermatologist, so why wouldn't she not be happy with someone intentionally damaging their skin?
Everyone in the office was very friendly, efficient and on time. Dr Freeman herself was very personable and kind. She was willing to answer questions and never made me feel rushed.
Great frontline staff Rose, pleasant, easy to talk too. Dr. Freeman, was the BEST, I’m absolutely 100% pleased with her advice, and being so helpful and considerate. Look ffwd to my follow up appt with improvements to show :
