Dr. Adam Chapnick

I have had gum surgery and crowns done for my entire upper teeth all 13of them with Dr. Adam Chapnick. My teeth weren't all bad but over the years I have gone to different dentists in different countries so I wanted to have a consistent and brand new look. Although it was no easy and simple process Dr. Chapnick did not disappoint. While I've already publicly thanked this honourable professional Doctor, this time I want to leave a review just for Ellen the first face you see the moment you walk through their office doors. The day I started one of many long and painful appointments Ellen always followed up to see if I needed any help. I am not an attention seeker but during that time it felt really good. I wanted upper gum surgery and 13 teeth shaving and crowns all in less than 2 months so I did suffer for a while. Ellen and Dr. Chapnick always emailed and followed up help me with prescription painkillers tried their best to accommodate my busy schedule and if for any unforeseen reasons Dr. Chapnick could not see me Ellen reached out and offered options. Ellen had spent countless hours mailing and emailing quotes and forms to Manulife my insurance company calling countless times waiting on hold for 30/45 minutes at a time and aggressively follow up regarding my claims until she succeeded with getting them to pay me some of the expenses. Ellen is so well seasoned in the dental industry she could pass for a dentist. Her customer service is also off the chart. I run a hand full of businesses in the GTA and internationally for over 22 years and I deal with countless professionals and businesspeople daily however I can't recall meeting anyone more invested in their work than Ellen. Ellen, I truly felt like I was your only patient. I truly appreciated it because I know how rear this kind of customer service/patient care is nowadays. I am really good with customer service too but since I met you I've done a massive upgrade to my customer service to make sure my clients feel even more appreciated and valued so thanks for this lesson too Ellen. I can't wait for my lower crowns and my Hollywood smile in the new year so Happy and prosperous New Year to Dr. Chapnick and his incredible team Ellen and lovely Hellen and see you again soon! Took my infant in for a tongue tie assessment. Dr. Adam is very patient and gentle during the whole time, and shared his professional opinion. Didn’t force us to make any decision right away. The client experience manager, Ellen, is very nice as well.

Dr. Chapnick saved my smile. I have had terrible experiences with dentists ever since I chipped my front tooth when I was a kid. As a result of that incident the tooth was dead and overtime started to become yellowish, I decided to get crowns overseas for cost efficiencies. Little did I know that would have ended up being the worst and most costly mistake ever. The dentist overseas suggested I get crowns on six of my front teeth and he also performed root canals on each one the other five teeth were 100% healthy. After one month, the crowns and gum tissue appeared dark due to the poorly done root canals and my gum line became completely unsymmetrical and overall swollen because the crowns were poorly prepped and fitted. See picture 1 below - my gums were not previously like that. Thereafter, I went to a specialist in Canada to fix the issues and re-do my crowns. He suggested that, at minimum, I perform an invasive gum surgery whereby they would remove bone, wear braces, and after we started the treatment plan, he even suggested that dentures may be a better option. That’s when I decided to look further and after a few consultations in Toronto, thankfully I landed on Dr. Chapnick! Dr. Chapnick suggested that we perform a less invasive procedure with laser gum surgery and we also re-did the crowns. After a few appointments, the result was incredible see picture 2 below. Now my gum tissue is healthy again and the crowns fit well. I had lost hope in dentistry until Dr. Chapnick saved my smile in the span of 3 months the other dentist suggested a 1+ year treatment plan. Not only did Dr. Chapnick do an amazing job, he is also extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain each step of the treatment. He’s also very understanding and aware of how a person’s smile impacts their personal life and overall confidence. He truly cares for his patients and made himself available via text/email on evenings and weekends whenever I would have follow-up questions. Dr. Chapnick is wonderful and so is his team - his administrative assistant Ellen and dental hygienist Helen were just as lovely throughout the whole process. I would recommend them to everyone my mother also visited Dr. Chapnick for a TMJ issue and she was just as happy with their services! Thank you for restoring my trust in dentistry!

I am visiting Dr. Adam Chapnick for my teeth cleaning for a few years now, so figured I’d finally write a review. The staff has always been very kind and professional, the service itself is also always great. I’ve recommended Dr. Chapnick to a couple of family friends a few years ago and they use him to this day.

I have been going to Adam Chapnick for 4 years and I have had excellent service and care. He is very careful not to let you feel pain during a procedure. The latest treatment was a loose abutment on a two year old implant; he drilled through the tooth tightened it and refilled the opening very efficiently. In addition, he is replacing two very old fillings with caps that look beautiful. His staff is fun and friendly, but very helpful and honest with their dealings. I would recommend doctor Chapnick for any family.

Dr Chapnick brings integrity, and expertise to his field . His patience and knowledge in cosmetic dentistry is excellent. I highly recommend him . We are so pleased with the results!

Dr. Chapnick is THE best dentist to do anything cosmetic! I have had my crowns for over 5 years and I love them as much as the first day I got them! His bedside manner is also amazing- he will put you at ease immediately and has a very genuine manner about him- I will absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a new dentist or to anyone who wants to get any major dental work done - he’s the best!

I came to dr . Chapnick to get veneers for my four front teeth. And I am very pleased! He listens and does exactly what I want but also offers a professional opinion. He is honest and delivers great quality assistance. I get compliments on my smile all the time and ppl think I've had braces . The receptionist is also so kind and dealt with a lot of fuss with my insurance but ended up being successful! She was so helpful! The work that Doctor Chapnick has done not only changed my smile but has also given me more confidence. The veneers look good and feel great. My jaw took well to the procedure which relieved a lot of stress from my two front teeth. I would have the procedure again and recommend it to everyone.
