I am so sorry to mention that she doesn't even listen anything about the pain. Whenever I tried to say anything she was rude and said everything I am telling her is my mental issues. I don't have any problem. Really?!! Then why Dr. Referred me to Physiotherapy?!! And why I have having pain?!! I will not recommend anyone to go there.
People are giving bad reviews based on the lady being blunt and to the point.. when I first started seeing her I also thought she was quite blunt and not overly friendly… but then her assessment and exercises and taping helped me so much so I continued going… realized that she is actually just super smart and knowledgeable and likes to get to the point instead of wasting a persons time with being super nice but not actually fixing them I have been to so many Physio places and this lady is literally the best. She is so knowledgeable and shares with you exactly what’s going. She doesn’t just give you exercises to do at home she also spends good time help you do the exercises and learning them and tapes you up good. She has great response time for appointments so you don’t have to wait long… she has let me come in just for a quick tape job more than once without counting it as an appointment. I have had wrist shoulder and ankle issues and mris weren’t able to catch what was exactly wrong… she was able to through movement and gave me exercises that help me quickly strengthen without being super time consuming. She’s the best!!
I had an appointment here approximately 6 years ago. I forget the name of the person I saw, but she was female, taller than me, had medium light coloured hair, and muscular arms. I went because I was experiencing unusual muscle weakness, fatigue, and pain. My work required muscular endurance and I was doing at home works outs but my performance was declining. During her assessment of my strength she accused me of not trying because I was unable to resist any force she applied to my upper limbs. I reiterated that this was why I was seeking help. Then what she asked me still bothers me to this day, "do you really think you have a neurological problem or do you just need to workout more?". That is the reason I am writing my review, her assessment of me was beyond poor, it was incorrect, she was unkind, and hurtful. She sent me home with a series of workout suggestions. However, my health continued to decline and I was losing the ability to dress myself and walk. I went to a walk-in clinic and they suggested runing some blood work..fast forward a week and I was seeing all kinds of specialists and even went to Wascana Rehab for an EMG. I was diagnosed with Dermatomyositis, a neuromuscular disease which developed as an autoimmune condition and is a form of muscular dystrophy. Her incorrect assessment delayed my actions to seek help because she made me believe I wasn't working hard enough. I regret not writing a review back then, but now I see all the other reviews on here so I know I'm not the only one who had poor treatment. I hope she does a reassessment of her treatment of clients.
Waste of time, Did not get assessed. Did not get any exercises to do, Got rushed out the door, as she was in the middle of giving a treatment to a guy in the other room. Now I have to start over elsewhere from step 1. In all fairness the lady needs help, she is way overworked. she is probably doing the work of 3 people. Went twice won't be back.
I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews, I had a very pleasant experience here and would recommend it.
Worst experience, The lady physiotherapist needs to learn soft skills how to behave and understand patients problems.
