Looking for a delicious Korean food experience in the Oceanside area? Lol no further! Place an order for pickup it's packaged well in quality containers and pay at the door, or dinner inthe smell is fantastic. Friendly staff to greet you as well! The food is so delicious and flavourful with the rice bowl portions being definitely enough for a healthy appetite and the price is reasonable as well! I will definitely be going back! Yum!
Good food and stellar service considering there were only two staff working. The food came out slightly cold. My suggestion would be to use piping hot stone bowls for the bimbimbap so the rice gets crispy and the food stays warm.
Delicious, authentic Korean food with very generous portions. I had the spicy chicken rice bowl and it was super fresh, nice and spicy with big pieces of chicken, and the japchae was on point! Service was fast and friendly, and the place was very clean. Will definitely stop by again.
Taste is okay. About average Korean flavor. But too oily for my preference.
We had the galbi ribs and they were superb! Very tender and nicely balanced in flavours. We also had the spicy seafood udon and the bibimbob. Both also very tasty. We are definitely putting Dosirak on the list of places to eat when we are in town.
Enjoyed my lunch of kimchi tofu stew here. It’s nothing fancy, but portions are big, thr soup was flavourful, the place is comfortable and service is fast.
Pros: food was awesome Cons: dining in service is just okay. We ate in and te food was all wicked good combo box, crispy tofu, and rice bowls. Glass noodles were unreal and everything else was really tasty. Only downside is the inside seating is quite small and the service while friendly and polite was a bit slow having to wave to get help and things like your bill, etc. Luckily the food is well worth it, highly recommend it.
i came here a while ago with my friends and i’m sure i left a review immediately after but i guess it didn’t go through : i ordered a tofu bibimbap and it was the best i’ve ever had!! the girl working was very kind as well. it was a really hot day when we came by so we ordered water of course, but the bottles weren’t super cold so the girl put them into to-go cups with ice for us all which i thought was super sweet! i’m definitely going to come back here when i’m in Parksville again! make sure to stop by here if you love Korean food.
More parking in the back but even though the food is great, they don't have enough staff in the front. Recommend take out. Insufficient staff led to inability to mop the sticky floors, slow service due to lots of takeout orders, and so on. 3 stars for take out. 2 stars for eating in.Food: 3/5
This pork cutlet was crispy and tasty and I am so into the potato glass noodles. It is more than enough for one meal and goes well with beer too. They offered a good service as well as clean and cosy atmosphere. I am willing to go there again to try other korean foods. So happy to find an authentic korean restaurant in Parksville. thumps up heaps!!!!
