It's great park for all season especially ice
Beautiful! This park has a little but of everything pavilions, BBQ pits, swimming area, bathrooms, docks and even multiple boat launches. They also rent canoes, row boats, kayak and paddle boat rentals. There is lots of good fishing and a dirt road access point on kible road pass the schools also another on upprerlise road.
A basic county park. The main attraction is the huge lake. Amenities are fairly basic, but no admission fee. We enjoyed the boat rental, picnic area, and paved walking trail. As an engineer, I also appreciate the size of the dam. It's worth walking or driving to it to get an appreciation of the scale of something so massive.
Amazing spot to have a picnic, walk along the paved path, or sit and enjoy the nature around. Not too far away is the Whitney point multiple use area to get a little more intimate with the nature around.
I love having a place where I can kayak, that also has rentals for my friends without kayaks! Huge lake and great for first time kayakers looking to get into the activity!

Very peaceful park. Good place to take the kids fishing or do a little kayaking.
Great park with lots of activities. Playground, lake, picnic tables, grills, canoes and paddle boats for rent. Nice calmed and family friendly atmosphere. They have lifegaurds at the beach to make you feel safer while you and or the kids swim! It's clean and always manicured. There's even some places to fish if you're into that!
Went to park today beautiful day ! Can't believe the water levels are this low!
