Played the 9 hole pitch and put course. $25 for a family of 4. Perfect length for the kids and for adults who want to work on the short game. City staff are always friendly.
I would give it a 3.5. We played the Classic 9 hole course. What I enjoyed were the holes along the grand river. Especially the 4th hole par 3 with the river on the right side of the green. How to improve this course...firstly and most easily clean up and maintain the bunkers. Maybe due to covid the course is not touching them. Secondly, it would be fantastic if the city could clear many of the trees and bushes blocking the view of the river. That would be incredible!! I did not enjoy the holes along the 401. Very loud with the traffic continuously driving by.
Great course! Good quality for the money, very well kept and the staff are very friendly. Has cart service when it’s busy including during the week. Pro shop is well stocked and managed. Offers a 9 hole and an 18 hole course with walking or riding as options. Totally worth a visit!! Can’t wait to play there again this year.
Nice course! Twilight time with a cart is affordable with makes the course more desirable: feel like the fairways could be a little bit softer but it's a decent course!
Well maintained course. Very punishing and challenging course if you can't keep it in the fairway. Greens and approach shots have a variety of difficult aspects, from big sloping greens to difficult bunkers on approach. Have to really think about how you're going to play each shot which makes things really fun.
Great club I came in early one morning not knowing that the range opened an hour later and the people at the service desk asked around to see if they could let me in one hour earlier and after a short wait I was out in the range. Their 18 hole is also a really fun play.
fun course, good for beginners like myself, experienced player, and overall a nice time. could use a big more tlc as there are some dry patches but otherwise no complaints!
Decent course, fairly challenging but fun. The public walk paths on the course aren’t the best idea, had a family walking straight up the fairway of hole two. Marshall wasn’t friendly and didn’t seem to remember the groups he talked to. At around 6:45 he started coming around every single hole reminding us the carts had to be back by 8:30 and waste time by talking to us. Then yelled at us while we were teeing off 3 minutes after giving us the go-ahead telling us to bring the carts back because he wanted to go home, it was only 8:15 at the time. We were on hole 17. Threatened us to ban us from the course if we didn’t listen to him so we weren’t even able to finish the last two holes.
A great Muni with a good mix of old school and new golf holes. Great value.
Not the place to go if you’re a beginner or just getting into golf. The marshal on the first tee, I believe his name was David, was extremely rude to our foursome even calling one of our players blind because two of our golf cart wheels were on the grass instead of cart path…honest mistake. This after we told him we were pretty much beginners. In addition to the ignorant welcome, course was super challenging but the amazing weather and laughs shared by all overcame the bad. Will probably return next year once we are more seasoned players.
