Recently rented the party room in the back, it was awesome, my favorite touch was having an aux cord to play our own music. Only thing that really disappointed me was the staff... the amount of money I spent on the room and I only seen a bartender come in probably 4 times in 7 hours.. I was DD that night as well, I drifted off to sleep sitting in the chair for a min and they wanted to kick me out.. Yup kick the person that's DD so no one can get a drive home.. I was very disappointed in that.
Very nice clean establishment compared to other doolys in Halifax. Pool tables and bar were clean, staff were very friendly.
I took family here tonight but could not get past the “smokers” in front of the door. Sorry but we had to move on. Rules for smokers and Cannabis smokers need to be strongly enforced at your front door. Not only that but the family style restaurant next door must feel the effects as well.
Great service Great atmosphere. Super place to unwind and shoot a game of pool, gather with friends with lots of space to social distance or play a few slots in a nice softly lit and quiet area..I have always loved Dooley...
