I went there years ago when I first moved to Acton. There was a guy at the deli slicing meat and cheese with no gloves on. He said they ran out ??!!. I worked at a deli for 20 years and we had to change gloves multiple times an hour and there were specific rules about when to change them after handling certain products. And this guy tells me they ran out of gloves?! Why wasn’t the department closed until they could get more?! So gross! I will never be back there.
Great location on the Bruce Freeman Trail. Perfect spot to stop and get a healthy snack, cool air and hope back on the trail. Thank you Donelan's for posting the sign out at the trail. Was just what we needed!!
Beautiful ambiance and great staff. you can buy anything under one roof.
This is my market of choice. They have an excellent produce department, very fresh and a large variety. The fish department has very fresh fish, many are local. The meats are high quality. They have every I need, even a wine/beer department. The staff members are friendly and helpful, they excel in the customer service department. Thank you Donalan's of Acton.
Great place! I love local hot kitchen menu and local sushi best sushi I have ever tested!. Overall all products quality is very high. The only downside is high prices but you know what you pay for!.
This is a jewel of a grocery store in many ways. The quality and variety offered is exceptional. I saw brands that I have never seen anywhere else that turned out to be exceptionally good. There is a wonderful selection of prepared food. Super friendly service. An employee saw me getting a little bit overloaded with items and came up to me and handed me a basket without me ever having asked for it.
Pretty great place to work and shop at any time or at the same time.
Just wanted something quick and it was easy in, easy out! Update: 4/14/22 still a nice place! I bought a couple of plastic clamshell containers of blueberries. They put a rubber band around them so they wouldn't accidentally open and put them in the bottom of the grocery bag. Careful packing!
A pleasant environment. Good selection of quality produce, deli, baked goods, although no department stands up to dedicated store eg cheese shop. A little pricey, but convenient. Friendly and helpful staff.
I bought 3 pieces of fried chicken for $15 while Shaw's 8 piece is for $9. Why? Extortionate. Also not spiced as well.
