Fantastic chicken platter. Stellar service and a great atmosphere. My favourite place to grab a bite to eat on campus by far! Side note they always accommodate for my various dietary restrictions. Huge brownie points.  Vegetarian options: Multiple  Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating

Hands down the best place to eat on campus. $11 for a super chicken donair platter? WOW! The basmarti rice just sings to me, the sauce is something special and the potatoes they cook are immaculate. I really don’t think there is any doubt that this is the best food on campus. Plus the restaurant has a lot of atmosphere and gives you a sense of culture and community.

I love donair town! Their portion sizes are SO perfect and also affordable. It’s unfortunate that there isn’t an option to give a 6-star rating because I think that donair town is deserving of it. This place is truly a gem.

Okay I don’t even know where to start. The chicken shawarma is AMAZING, it is so flavourful it literally melts in your mouth. Also the price - I’m sorry it’s so reasonable and is the best shawarma in the ubc area - do not go to pita pit unless u wanna be disappointed. Also the staff are so friendly and kind. Kinda feels like a hole in a wall. Anyways, 100% recommend.

I ordered lamb and chicken donairs plate via Uber eat. Very generous amount, the meal comes with 2 sides and a pita bread. The chicken was super tasty and their potato wedges were delicious. The sauce on top was GREAT! As for the lamb, it wasn’t as tasty as the chicken but it was okay. However, the hummus is really bad and that’s why I’m rating them 4 stars. Good Halal option in UBC area.

Much like gems are found underground, deep beneath the bustling streets of university marketplace lies this vibrant restaurant. Upon arrival you're met with the kindest of bossmans, smiling and shooting banter as he takes your order. My usual being the super chicken donair platter. In regards to the food, the english language is linguistically unable to contextualise it, for me to give a description would be disrespectfully downplaying its excellence. I will continue to frequent at donair town, as you should as well.

This place is one of my favourite lunch/ dinner spots in UBC University village. We often come here for the lunch platter of chicken , beef or shawarma which are wholesome , delicious with generous portion size at only ~9.5$. This donair place is cheaper than most of the chains and eateries in Vancouver serving shawarma platters and wraps. Their meat is well cooked , tender ; the sauces taste perfect with the meat , salad , rice and crispy potatoes. Though I find the pita bread to be a bit stiff and chewy. Overall, the place is highly recommended for a quick lunch close to UBC .

I used to come to this place the all time. Now the chicken portion sizes are so small it is unfair. I ordered super size and the guy in front of me who ordered regular got more chicken than me, and not just once. Such a shame. DON'T BUY SUPER SIZE, THEY WILL GIVE YOU LESS THAN REGULAR PORTIONS. JUST SAVE THE $2.

Exquisite, fantastic, and delicious, just some of the adjectives I would to describe Donair Towns food. The chicken donair may be the best menu item on campus and for such a good price as well. 10/10 would recommend!
