If you're looking for Mediterranean food, this Donair Town is a great choice. The food is usually fresh and always tasty. The staff are all great, excellent customer service every time I go. Generous portions and reasonable prices. Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space for strollers.
Edit: the owner cleaned the fish tank thank you, the fish looked very happy Edit 2: the fish tank has been nasty again ever since the one clean. One of the best shawarma plate I've had in lower mainland. Never a disappointing meal. But please... Clean the fish tank. This place has the cutest gold parrot? fish it will follow your finger around the fish tank every time but it breaks my heart to see it live in such a dirty tank. If you don't want to clean the tank please contact me and I will clean it for free. If that doesn't work, I am willing to adopt your goldfish. #FreeTheFish
The finest donair place in BC! They have it all: flavour, price, service- all excellent! The owner is extremely friendly and personable, but even when he is not present, every member of his staff are professional and welcoming. I've had their food for well over five years and have never been disappointed. Also the only donair place that never skimps on rice or humus.
I bought falafel and I came back home without seeing drink expiration date and found that drink is expired year beforeJan-2022. And taste was like hell, I lost my few bucks. Please don’t play with someone’s health for money, keep checking your inventories, I’ll report to food authority. Photo attached for the proof and bill will be provided on request. It was Diet Pepsi and date was 12th January.
I’ve been here many times and the food is always good! I usually get the chicken plate with the rice, Greek salad, and it’s lots of food for almost 3 people. The restaurant team is always very nice, it’s a clean restaurant and easily accessible from Skytrain, bus, walking and driving. Really good food options for vegetarians, meat lovers and there’s also lots of drink options soda, water, juice, etc. Excellent service, very fast and I highly recommend :
Not sure if the management is checking these reviews. This place is not the same anymore, food is fine but their service went down hill. Please get rid of the rude employee girl with the long hair if you actually care about your business. Horrible customer service!
Decided to grab some dinner. Donair looked good and this place had rather good ratings. Food: We ordered the chicken platter. I got the upsize +$2, which meant, more meat I had all the vegetables and sauces on the platter. The chicken was marinated and roasted well, a little dry, but given that I went a little late, it was expected. Rice was delicious, savoury and filling, wasn't too sure what stock they cooked it in, but it was amazing. Two options of salads, Caesar and Greek. I had the Caesar, it was alright. Nothing special. Service: Friendly young dude. A little quiet. Quick prompt service. Location: Pretty empty at 9pm. Rather warm given that it's summer and there wasn't much ventilation/AC. Price: Approx ~$9/pax Would I recommend? Yes. Meat portions are generous refer to pics for clarity, food is relatively filling. Get the set meal+drink for better value. Go with friends. This place has gone down hill big time since the owner changed or son took over. Food taste real dad and service is a joke and the prices are insane. I would not recommend going or go at your own risk.
Your food will be delivered very fast and hot. But I suggest for all staff: guy’s more working on the taste and quality of your rice
Friendly staff, quick service, excellent tasting food, fresh and lots of options. Chicken donair is excellent! Pretty consistent over the years!
