This was my first time here. The wait is so long even if you called in your order. We waited over 1 hour to order and 45 minutes just to receive our food. The cabbage was not cooked all the way. It was still hard. The chicken and rice was way over seasoned. It was completely salty. The lady overcharged me and when I brought it to her attention, she tried to tell me she didn’t. She recalculated my order and gave me the difference. I will never eat from here again.
The only thing I like about them is their sauce, the sauce is really good ask for two IF you go because they give you a little but I guess thats fitting since the chicken is mostly bones. The rice is dry after asking several times for extra gravy, the cabbage is ok and the mac and cheese is bland. Their customer service isn't that good and what I dislike the most is when you order the chicken they break it up to make it look like more but all it is mainly bones and not a lot of meat. I dislike making bad reviews but when the attitude isn't that welcome when working with customers I feel like it should be known but to each their own.
Food is old. I did uber eats .My food is dry, oxtails are small only received two and one has no meat at all the other one, the beef is old and tough. I am reporting this place to the FDA and BBB. They shouldn't sell old meat we have enough health issues. I'm trying to figure out how to upload my pictures on this site.
Read all the negative reviews but still wanted to give a try. Food was very bland jerk sauc e was watery and bland. The worst thing was the mac and cheese. Alot of mac and no cheese. It tasted like the watered down jarred cheese sauce and the pasta way over cooked. On the plus side, the portions of food was large.
This was the worst jamaican food I ever had in my life. I ordered oxtails and I received a whole package of rice sprinkled with tiny oxtail bones. The mac and cheese is the worst. No flavor at all. Just bland to no returned. I will NEVER order from here again in 5 life times.
This is a family spot that has AWESOME food! I can see mama cooking in the back and EVERYTHING is homemade. You know that jerk sauce that all jerk spot have? Well, Valley’s sauce is homemade! Best scotch bonnet pepper sauce I have EVER had!
This was my first time ordering from this place and it’s the Worst “Jamaican” food I have ever had in my life! The chicken didn’t have any seasoning on it! I did Ubereats the macaroni and cheese was watery the yams didn’t taste right and the rice and peas was soggy!
If i could give Negitive stars i would. After spending $14 for food that was extremely cold, i also got food poisoning. I felt something was off when the mac and cheese was orange but due to it being jamacian foood i assumed it was the seasoning they used. I couldnt sleep after i ate the food i thought i was just consipated from the spicey food. 5am i woke up throwing up non stop! I rushed to the hospital to learn i had food poisoning. I wasnt going to write a review but after reaching out to the owner and being hung up on i strongly suggest no one eats here.
Absolutely the worst jerk I’ve had. The chicken was burned and smelled old, the sauce tastes like a light bbq sauce, and all of the sides taste as if they came from a box. Will NOT EVER go back to this place. Should’ve stuck with jerk villa or jerk 48. Disappointed.
The cook was outside and didnt wash his hands when he returned inside the restaurant and he was very rude and disrespectful. The food was nasty and over priced. I'm going to report them to the Health Department.
