Don Cherry's

Food was below mediocre and my girlfriend asked for bruschetta and got some pizza sauce on bread. When she asked the waiter for a discount she said she can't do it because there was nothing wrong with it. I was flabber gasted. The empty parking lot should have been our first indication of a poor establishment.

Oh how the place has gone down hill over time. Food and service used to be four or five star years ago but drop a few stars today. My great white north hamburger patty smelled a bit off meat/cheese and there was a moldy smell coming from the stain on a wooden table we sat at. Condiments were brought to the table and mustard all smeared down the side of the bottle was not good. My wife ordered chicken wings in sauce and they must have cooked them in the microwave according to how tough they were. She couldn't tear the meat off the bone. French fries were store bought and not home made. They had a fancy name on them though, "crispy fries" was a joke. Don't touch the door on the way in/out as it has not been cleaned since the first time I went there in 20 years. Never eat there again

My father used to be a regular here and we went with him multiple times. After receiving multiple problems with food it became apparent that it was getting worse. Nothing like raw wings, ketchup for sauce and the staff will admit that it's gone to the dogs.

Staff was really friendly, kind and engaging with us and the kids. Folks at our table had cheese sticks yum, 1/4 chicken dinner, great white north burger, chicken fingers, and kids meals. Food was good and there was something for everyone. Service was quick - we will be back!

Yikes! Food was recognizable as food, that’s about it. Waitress was nice but clearly having a time. Dated, not sure Don would approve. The beer was wet however so it’s got that going for it, if you wanted a place to watch sports and drink beer it would do ok.

I was beyond disappointed with our waitress brought out a appetizer with no plates we had to get up an ask for them she made it seem like it was an imposition went in back an came out 5 minutes later! The breshetta was all onion an cold! We had salads an poutine, the poutine was drowned in cold podgy gravy an both salads where saturated in dressing an cut up in such tiny pc you needed a spoon to eat it! When we asked for the bill she left the fish’s on the table an never came back with the bill we had to go to the bar to pay we never did see the bill an our change was 923 she gave back $5 what nerve to assume she was getting a tip! The reastrant itself was dirty an dingy least to say we will never go there again!

Travelling on business and had never been to Don Cherry"s and wanted to give it a try. Nathan, our Waiter was awesome, the food was great western burger & club house, inexpensive way, and service was fast. Will definitely stop in again when travelling through.

You can get together with family or have a night out with boys for grub and a pint. But the food is not on my top 10 list. The service is only "ok". The temperature in the establishment feels like someone left the fridge door open. I hate to say anything bad about this place but I'm not a fan of it nor will i be going back.

WHAT A DIVE ! ... this place has gone so down hill. It's unkempt, the staff are terrible, so unprofessional and we waiting over an hour for wraps and fries. Not once were we checked on or checked our drinks for refills, when my boyfriend tried to get the waiters attention she rudely stuck her finger in his face indicating "one minute " she never did come back. The owner clearly doesn't know how to run a business , sad

We had the 2 for $30 striploin steak special meals and they were amazing. Great service, great presentation and delicious. We would definitely come back again.
