We stayed at this Gite in August. We had requested the room with a lake view, only to be given the room with a "garden view", i.e a dark basement room with a small window overlooking the parking lot, definitely not a "garden". When we queried this with the manager, he was immediately defensive, did not offer any apologies and said "his wife was in charge of bookings, not him" and he even mocked my boyfriend for trying to speak French, we felt bullied and uncomfortable. He did not offer any help no compensation. We would NOT recommend this hotel for the following reasons: 1) although the Gite itself looks beautiful from the outside, guests stay in the bottom section, a half basement 2) Garden view means looking at the parking lot, with poor air circulation see picture 3) the lake is more of a swamp, I would not swim in it (and I'm an outdoorsy canadian girl) --- it's just not that inviting 4) the gite managers have poor customer service skills, were defensive, rude, and offered no help. i would not recommend this place to anyone.

Been there many times with my wife this summer.love the romantic room.going back in 1 month.verry nice hosts good breakfast Clean rooms .you can't go wrong going here.try it and have fun

Fantastique!!! Le site est comme son nom l'indique: merveilleux :) Le chalet est très beau et la Royale confortable à souhait. Le spa extérieur...un vrai régal à la nuit tombée! Quant aux propriétaires: adorables!! Merci beaucoup Christelle (quelle expérience que la raquette, hi,hi,hi:) et Philippe. Le lieu, votre gentillesse, le feu de cheminée, et le petit déj'...Ce fut vraiment inoubliable. Je recommande ce gîte où je compte bien retourner moi-même.

Séjour splendide au domaine des merveilles, le coin est paradisiaque, l'accueil de Philippe et Christelle à été parfait, et que dire des petits déjeuners...on en salive encore ! :)
