Whether you're looking for something to eat, things for the bathroom, baby products, hair products or toys there's so much more you can hardly imagine. You have to take a look for yourself but make sure you got lots of time because there's Isles full of lots of stuff to go through. I always leave with at least a couple of bags full.
This Dollarama in Drumheller provides everything that a Dollarama in other cities would have with the convenience of a small town.
A well appointed store, with a wide variety of things to choose from at lower prices. The place was clean and there were almost nothing stacked in the aisles which would make it hard for a wheelchair or walker to navigate. Although, the day we were there, the button to open the doors was working from the outside, but not the inside, which makes it harder for those needing more accessible doorways. The only other thing was the sole person on cash was slow to call for assistance when the line really began to get long. Also, the two that eventually were on cash were super friendly, but a bit hard to understand. Not some Anglophone Karen who demands to be served only in English, just a note for others who, like me, have damage to their language and speech centers in the brain, and have problems understanding speech in general, but even harder when it is heavily accented. I mean, I have trouble understanding my Cape Breton and Newfoundland family and friends, so just a note for those who have similar issues. Overall, a nice store, with decent prices.
This is our favourite Dollarama. Whenever we re in Drumheller or are, we make sure we pop in. They seem to have things before other stores, have more options, and have the good things longer. We have always been treated well, with staff always offering a smile and pleasantries. The store always appears clean as well, which is not true of all Dollaramas.nI am comparing to Brooks, Medicine Hat, Lethbridge, Calgary, and others in Southern Alberta.
Nice store with a lot of affordable items. Nice customer service. Not much parking lot, but it’s alright.
