They brought full service back and it’s awesome! No one wants to ring their own merchandise through and not receive a discount! Employees are also helpful and fast!
This has to be the cleanest and most organized dollarstore I've ever seen. We were so impressed that we spoke with the manager to let her know this and she accredited it to having an incredible team which is wonderful to hear a manager to speak so positive of their staff. I wish my local locations were this well organized.
Nice store with lots of selection. The staff here are nice and helpful. Great place for canned food, detergents and other household items. Dog treat selections are excellent. Only drawback, and it's a big one, is the super long lineup. It always takes me longer to stand in line to pay than the actual shopping. That's the only reason why I don't come here as often as I could. I see the long lineup and I turn around. I'm not the only one doing that. They should really have more cash open to move the line quickly, or maybe have the hand scanner for quick self checkouts. If they improve on the cash line ups, they'd get a 5-star.
I shop at this dollarama all the time, but recently there was a conflict between my friend and one of the staff outside of the workplace and since then not my friend, me or my sister can go in without being followed around until we leave the store and have the employee and their friends watch us as we walk to our car. There have also been occasions where we would be shopping and this employee and their coworkers would stand next to us and whisper and talk about us.nOne star review as I feel uncomfortable to shop there.
I asked a simple question. “ if the item is not price marked is it a dollar…” The lady almost ripped my head off she ran to the candy section yelling this stuff is all priced and o know that became I’m the one who did it. Seriously who cares who did it all I wanted to know is how much it was. I had no plan in trying to get a deal. I’ve never been treated so badly and I went to say something to her and she left so fast and I looked all through the store and couldn’t find her anywhere and guy I did ask said had no idea who cause he just came on shift. Thanks lower Sackville Dollarama you mad a really bad day worse. If you don’t like what you do maybe another job might be more suited for you.
