just now i overheard a customer argue with security guy that he was not allowed to bring in the service dog. customer was filming and tried to expl to the guy the law , however, it was heat up seems the security guy still didnt understand. customer was very patient and not rude at all. suddenly quiet down i think manager took away customer to talk.ni searched the law it says , service dog to be allowed to store, unless if the dog really aggressive. and, if customer said it s service dog, it cant be asked for any prove or anything.nfor anyone doesnt know, please search bc law, very easy to locate.nni feel in this situation, customer did his best . he tried to educate firstly. and protect his human right. for workers, it s ok if u dont know, however, should make sure before u confront a customer , this would get store to big trouble if customer escalate to government and social media.nnit taught us, be humble and be aware who u facing to at work.nnfeel sorry for this customer , and i totally stand up with the customer. he deserve the apology and compensations, especially when this touches his human right and respect in the store big like this.nnmoreover, they should better guide their security worker. each time at the cashier , i feel i was surrounded and watched that closely, like 2 feetsteps away, i feel very shamed that i am forced to believe i m already a thief.
We find this Dollarama to be one of the most organized stores.nnWhile waiting in the queue for cashiers, manager noticed that the queue is getting longer and asked other staff to immediately attend to available cashier positions. Kudos to her proactive approach to serve the customers.
The cashier on weekend at night, she was super fast at checking out, she was managing 2-3 aisles multi tasking, she was clearing a line up of 10-12 people in under 5 minutes just by herself at around 8pm. Good Hire.
Today I visited Dollarama and had such a pleasant experience at the checkout. The cashier named Daman was extremely polite, patient, and welcoming from the moment I reached the counter. She greeted me with a warm smile and spoke in a very respectful and friendly manner. Even though the store was a bit busy, she handled everything calmly and professionally without making any customer feel rushed.nnWhat I really appreciated was her positive attitude and the way she communicated so kindly. She made the entire checkout process smooth and comfortable. Small gestures like smiling, speaking nicely, and being patient truly make a big difference in a customer’s experience, and Daman did exactly that.nnIt’s always refreshing to see employees who genuinely care about providing good service. Dollarama is lucky to have such a dedicated and well-mannered cashier on their team. Thank you, Daman, for making my visit so pleasant. I truly appreciate your kindness and professionalism!
For some reason, this store is always violently understaffed. From open to close, minimum 10-15 people in line and never more than one cashier there should be 4 on. It’s just odd because it’s like this at this location all the time so I avoid it at all cost. Even Central City is more efficient!
