I recently visited this location and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience due to the rude attitude of the staff. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome. The employees seemed uninterested in helping and were dismissive when I asked simple questions. Rather than providing friendly assistance, they acted as if I was inconveniencing them.nnIt was frustrating to be treated this way as a paying customer. Respect and courteousness should be a given, but that didn’t seem to be the case here. I hope the management addresses this issue and ensures that future customers are treated with respect. For now, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone looking for a positive shopping experience.
I always visit this Dollarama store. Store is well maintained and neatly organized. I always see manager helping the customer. I must say staff is very knowledgeable and polite. I just say one thing to people who are not happy or have some complaints, first talk to manager before they leave bad comments. My kids always love this store. This store is excellent managed by manager and staff. 3 cheers hip hip hurry hip hip hurry hip hip hurry.
Never thought I’d be writing a review on Dollarama before but this experience was wild. This dollarama has a lot of nice stuff especially for the home. I really like to come here. Usually when I shop at any store whether it’s a small mom and pop or a big cooperation or franchise and I buy a lot of things that are especially heavy I usually ask if there’s an employee that can help me take it to the car. I’m pregnant, I look pregnant and I’m high risk. I cannot carry anything heavy. Most places have the luxury of being able to take the cart outside with you and also have no problem helping a person in need take things to the car. I asked if there is an extra employee available to help me she said “yes one moment” and told someonenWho I assume must have been the manager and he responded with “no we don’t do that”. I explained the situation and the girl who was originally helping me looked concerned but too afraid to say anything. I want to mention that I didn’t buy a few things. I bought around 10 to 15 glass good container jars along with other things. They put my order in a big box. I kept trying to explain that I’m not suppose to carry heavy items and to please help me. Until he finally said “okay okay go bring your car to the front of the store” I did and when I came back inside. He started to help people on the register. He put the box on the edge of the counter closest to the exit door and said “take your things and go”. At this point I felt so degraded and humiliated. I just carried the heavy box to my car and left. That dollarama is usually a good one. They have a lot of nice things and the employees are great but that manager is a piece of work. I hope one day the same thing happens to him where he reaches out for help and finds no one. Please give this manager some extra training or something. Every time I see him he’s arguing with and employee or a customer. He's very rude and always give the customers they impression that he thinks they’re stealing. I’ve seen him following people around the store on numerous occasions.
Very well managed and tidy store. Everything is so organized, staff is very much customer friendly and especially the Manager Mr. Karbhari was so helpful and courteous with the customer. Really was very much pleased and happy in visiting the store
