Used to be the cheaper dollar store, but last week raised all the prices to $2, nearly double. Now they are more expensive than any other store, some stuff like Chocolate being higher than big box stores!
I started working here and they didn't train me properly, they left me on register within 20 mins of my first shift by myself, and the manager basically told me everything I needed to know within 5 mins and told me I have to remember, they did not train me properly at all, they kept leaving me on register knowing I didn't know what to do yet, and my second shift I went they had several people in the back and they planted me on register alone again!! So I quit. They do not teach you anything here during training they expect you to know right off. Mind you it's supposed to be a 2 week training process and I got all of 10 mins of it...
I bought 2 packs of ring pops and they gave me in one bag 3 greens and the other bag 1blue 1green 1pink

The manager has poor scheduling, and it shows when there is one cashier left alone on a Sunday. I ordered baloons, and I was told to wait while the only cashier on cashes everyone else out first. Mind you, there were 15 people in line. Then a work came by, and the only cashier asked her colleague for help to complete my baloon order . She told her no and that she didn't start for 2 min. Poor management, you can tell there's no teamwork in the environment when the manager leaves the worker hanging with backup support to call.
