First time at Dolcetto and I don’t ever go to Italian restaurants because most times I leave disappointed but Dolcetto is the real deal. We arrived and our table was not ready yet, it was a full house, but the Hostess Ana was extremely friendly and sat us at the bar where we enjoyed drinks. We were then seated at our table and the waitress was also extremely nice and helped us navigate the menu. We ordered the Risotto balls and calamari as apps. Calamari is NOT deep fried, but comes in a sauce that must have been made by an Italian Nonna herself, it was incredible delicious my partner kept dipping the risotto balls in it. As a main we ordered the lasagna and the pizza. They were both absolute fascinating and delicious. We enjoyed red wine and Prosecco, we didn’t have dessert because we were stuffed. The place is busy! If you are looking for a quiet place, this is not the place for you, however if you want to have a good time with great food, this place is absolutely fantastic!
We dined here on a strong recommendation. My first impression on entering: loud. Very much like a cafeteria. I'm referring to sound. Not the atmosphere. The service was very good. Right from start to finish. The food was excellent. We had the calamari to start, and ravioli as well as seafood linguini. Superb. Final take: it was busy on a Tuesday! That tells you something. Book ahead. Yes, it was loud. The atmosphere is fair. However, if you want fantastic food with equally good service, I definitely recommend. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free available for a fee.
Absolutely delicious!! The pastas are to die for! We love the gnocchi, its so fluffy and melts in your mouth. The ravioli is a favourite too with the rose sauce. We happily drive 2 hours to dine here.
We popped in for an impromptu birthday lunch, and were pleasantly surprised as first-time patrons. The food was delicious and the atmosphere nice. It was quite busy and I suspect our server was understandably overwhelmed as they seemed put out and did not check-in during the course of our meal; however, the rest of the staff made up for it with friendly service. We will visit again, once the dust of re-opening at full capacity settles.
The place is really good, better to have a prior reservation. I tried several vegetarian pizzas and taste was really good. Had an amazing experience , the service is really quick. If you love Italian food a lot then its a one stop place for you.
Had the absolute pleasure dining there last Friday for the first time. The food was incredible, we both had the Linguini de Mare, 5 *! Wine superb! Loved it so much came back with our kids 4 days later for Birthday dinner. Can't wait to try ALL on the menu! Patio is fabulous! Lauren was an excellent wait person! My new favourite restaurant! Will be back again, very shortly!
Taste of Italy in London, Canada! Today was our first time visiting this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. The weather was perfect for their patio, blue sky, breeze, and Italian food, the only thing missing was the sound of waves! Jokes apart, their food is delicious! Including their desert. There are options for everyone, gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, everyone. Their specials are scrumptious. Best testing pesto sauce I have had so far. We had their gluten-free cake with vanilla gelato and their tiramisu. Both were 10/10. This is our new desert place as my husband and I have a sweet tooth. Vegetarian options: Pizza, pasta, desserts, bruschetta
One of my favourite restaurants in London! Such great service, beautiful atmosphere indoor and outdoor, amazing food and beverage options. All around great restaurant!
Went here in June to celebrate our anniversary. Food was great except for the Fettucine dish my wife had. Alittle too bland but I get why it is to a point. Still would go back. The service was great and the atmosphere was amazing!!!
The owner knows Italian wine. Try the flights. They're a good introduction. I had a sampling of appetizers on my first visit - very flavorful. The hostess was accommodating to our request to dine indoors, given a turn in the weather. Courteous and friendly staff. I would come back to dive further into the menu.
