A gem of a Cafe, the atmosphere is perfect, and the staff were a blast The French toast croissant is a cool twist on a classic pastry, and our drinks were made spot on. Love the mini ink art work on the wall. Will definitely be back when we are in Paris again. Cheers,
This is such a quaint place. Pop in for a quick coffee or sit for a delicious bite from their small but innovative offerings. Peruse the shelves for great book deals. Sit on one of their cool red couches and read or just stare out the window at the view of the Grand River.Food: 5/5
It's a cafe, a book store, a social game room, poetry party place, a d so much more. Came here on a quiet weekday afternoon. Thoroughly enjoyed the ambience here. Great place to relax, take a pause, and pretend it's my own personal library, with great coffee to boot.
Cute place located on the main street in downtown Paris. Tons of options for drinking and snacks. They have a hip couch setup in the back facing the river which was very relaxing. So many things to see here! Records, books, art! Parking is available on the street and also behind the building.
I really love this place. It is not only about excellent coffee, cookies and services, it's about the energy that you can feel there. Go there and get an excellent and surprising experience, enjoy your time and read a book. Yes, there are plenty of books, choose the right one for you and have a good time.Food: 5/5
The best dirty chai I have ever tasted in my entire lifetime. And I’ve tried them all. Even if u don’t like dirty chai’s u will like this. It’s dirty. It’s chai. It’s coffee. It’s marvellous. Hits of espresso and spices. Chefs kiss. The vegan chilli and vegan croissant pair well together for a hearty lunch on a cold winters day. Cozy atmosphere. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Lots of books. If ur into that. Book worms paradise. Beautiful outlook onto the Grand River. Mini bar. Daily events at night time including live music and painting. GO NOW HURRY NOW GO.
Loved the atmosphere and the food. This place is a symphony of visual delights...topped off with delicious drinks and food. The service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be back!
Stopped in during the morning for a light breakfast of a cinnamon bun and a Cafe Mole It's something like a hot chocolate with a coffee shot but not quite a mocha and sooo delicious. The back of the cafe has comfy couches and arm chairs to relax in and book shelves full of used books you can purchase in a cozy book nook area. Large windows give you a glimpse of the river behind the building. They sell handmade bookmarks and postcards as well as the art that they hang on the walls. I absolutely loved this store!
Really great ambience! Love the menu selection and the variety of drinks. Got the ham sandwich for lunch with the iced maple oat latte then went back the next day and got the breakfast croissant, French toast croissant, and a matcha latte. My boyfriend got the lemonade which was homemade and delicious. Got a few books while I was there and very decently priced. Very clean place and prompt service which I always appreciate! Amazing coffee taste and delicious oat beverage. Looking forward to going back if I’m ever in the area again.
It’s essentially a bookstore + coffee shop as you must purchase the books prior to reading. The coffee and espresso are very well made, however the selection and quality of the sweets and pastries could use some work. Overall a great atmosphere and a nice spot to bring a book to read.
