I have severe anxiety with my teeth. The people at Discovery Passage helped tremendously. After 3 visits I am comfortable there and my teeth are feeling much better. Dr.Dennis is awesome. I'd like to thank Courtney for exceptional care and thoughtful touch. 5 Stars!
I have had really bad experiences with dentists in the past. To the point where I avoided going for over a decade. I needed a filling repair and was recommended to Dr. Dennis. Him and his staff are the kindest, and most professional people I have ever experienced. Everything was explained thoroughly and clearly. I highly, highly recommend this office.
Dr. Dennis is an extremely dishonest professional. 5 years ago, I was needing dental work done. I went to Dr. Dennis and suggested that I needed a bridge done, he enthusiastically convinced me that a bridge would only last 3-5 years and the better decision was to get an implant which should be permanent, despite being much more expensive. Dr. Dennis portrayed himself as an expert in the field of implants and led me to believe this was the correct decision. I spent the additional cost Appx. $4,500 and got an implant done. Almost exactly 5 years later in January of this year 2022, I noticed this implant start to come loose which progressively got more and more painful to eat anything. I immediately contacted Dr. Dennis' office and was told they would talk to Dr. Dennis and get back to me. I was never contacted back by his office. I received a call from a local Dentist in Alberta where I live now and told that the implant rep wanted him to have a look at what was going on. This local Dentist in Alberta did X-rays to find that the implant was cracked. He informed me that their office, like any reputable one, would have a warranty to cover something like this and I should contact Dr. Dennis' office. I once again made contact with their office and received no answer. This Alberta dentist contacted Dr. Dennis on my behalf and was told by Dr. Dennis that they would cover the cost of getting this fixed and I should get the implant removed. By this time, the implant had completely broken off leaving a piece of implant screw now embedded in my jaw. I booked an appt with a surgeon to get this out. Days before this appt, I called Dr. Dennis' office and asked how this was being paid for. His office then denied that they ever agreed to cover anything and said they were not interested in covering this issue, also that their office has NO warranty on their implants. I made multiple requests over the next couple of months for them to send me the information on the implant as well as to send me the waiver I signed when I had the work done. I was never responded to until months later when I had to threaten legal action. I was then contacted by their insurance company stating that Dr. Dennis was in touch with the implant rep about getting this fixed.... again, no response after this for 5 weeks until I again, sent a message threatening legal action. Now, I've been contacted stating they, once again, will not be covering any of this procedure to have this "permanent" implant covered. Their office is dishonest and shows extreme neglect for patient care and follow up. I would never again trust their office to do any dental work. They have proven they care nothing about their patients. I've now spent 7 months in pain having a hard time chewing attempting to communicate with their office to get this resolved. They are denying any responsibility for the faulty implant they put in, and every step of the way have taken weeks or months to answer anything I've tried to get information on so I can try to get this issue fixed and get out of pain. Be Cautious about this dentist office. They do NOT warranty or stand behind their work and show no care for their patients after the fact.
By far one of the most patient and courteous Dentists we've been to. True professionalism from this team and giving honest health focused approach to our families care. It's nice to not be "upsold" on some fancy procedure that's not needed for the health of our teeth. Thank you Dr. Dennis and your team!
