Neil was our tour guide for the Lake Louise bus tour, and was extremely knowledgeable about the area. We had a wonderful tour of Lake Louise and the area. Heidi was our guide for the Johnston Canyon ice walk tour. She was very informative, funny, and personable. Really enjoyed our time with her. The walk was absolutely gorgeous! Never seen anything like it. Would highly recommend both of these tours. We did both of these in the winter, but if we are ever back in the area in the summer, we are planning on going again!
We did the larch valley hike with discover banff tours and it was great. I’m so glad that we did this guided hike - we had a great group and a even better guide. Fun conversations, understanding the terrain, beautiful landscape and this 11 km moderate hike felt like a breeze.
World class! The tour claims to have the most beautiful lake it the world. It’s true. This beautiful emerald colored glacial lake is amazing. Driver and guide were so friendly. They went out of their way to provide advice.
Great trip to Lake Louise & Moraine Lake - perfect amount of time in each to walk around and take photos. Our guide Tyler Buck was hilarious, knowledgeable and a fantastic host as we drove from Banff to the lakes.
After a few -40°C Days the weather warmed up enough for my wife, 8yo son and I to go on the Johnston canyon ice walk. We had both Kelsey and Roz wanted her mum to know she was actually working Christmas Eve as our guides and both did an amazing job pointing out and explaining different things and driving through snow. Great trip out
Yesterday, we did the Signature Hike to Lake Minnewanka with Taylor or Tyler? I’m bad with names. He’s the guy with glasses and a beard. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. If you ask him any questions, he’s bound to have answers for ya, ranging from bison to flowers to Lake Minnewanka history. Honestly anything. He’s very passionate about Banff as well and you can tell from the way he talks about the Banff’s natural history. Truly a professional guide. He helped carry some extra water for us just in case we got thirsty since we have to pass through a less dense tree section due to previous forest fires. The group size was nice and small and the small bus was clean and comfortable. Would rate 10/10 and come back for some other hikes next time! Very happy with the tour!
Amazing tour and as far as our driver and tour guide..TYLER IS THE BEST! So much info on Banff wildlife, Lake Louise and Moraine history, the people and town of Banff. So many funny stories. After working for New York Police Dept. for over 20 yrs. and not taking a vacation for the last 12 years I definitely needed this experience and Tyler definitely made it a fun trip!
Had a fantastic time on the Icefields Parkway tour with our guide Jeff. Great driver. Great personality. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic throughout the trip and it was a long day for him. Beautiful scenery. Athabasca glacier drive and walk was an experience. So was the Glacier Skywalk. All well explained and organised. Excellent packed lunch provided as part of the day. Would do it again.
Highly recommended go use this tour service it will safe you a lot of time and parking headache. The tour guide and driver know banff so well and different packages are available based on the preference. School bus used is new clean and so easy to spot.
