I've rented cars all around the world and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a car rental agency. I reserved online through EuropeCar, only to arrive and be told that no car was available and I would have to wait. Instead of getting started on the paperwork so that when a car arrived I could be off, the agents chose to sit around chatting. After about an hour when a car was available, the agents wasted even more time arguing about who would handle the paperwork and inspection of the newly arrived car, which was done at a snail's pace. Despite them clearly having my reservation and me showing then emailing them my voucher (then confirming when I returned the car that they had it and would properly finish and send me the paperwork), they ended up overcharging me significantly. It's now been two months and more than a dozen calls to try and get a refund. After multiple calls, they issued a partial refund but still overcharged me, and every time I call back, staff either promise to look into it or call back yet never do. Even if you're desperate for a car, don't book with this location!!!!! It's not worth the time and hassle.

This is the second time I’ve rented here. I thought guy perhaps the first time was a fluke I was wrong. The first time I arrived there was no car available even though I’d reserved. This time there was a car - for me, but the guy next to me who arrived 3 min later got the same run-around, “we don’t have your car, sorry can’t tell you when it will arrive”. They also tried to charge me $100 more than the rate I reserved. They only backed down when I showed them the reservation on my phone. They are crooks don’t go there. Pay the extra 5-10% elsewhere. You’ll regret renting here. :(

Rude, unhelpful and condescending staff. Car was dirty and was expensive for what it was. Car was not ready at the reserved time. I rent a car every week and I can confidently say that this is the worse car rental company in Montreal.

Worst place to rent a car. I booked a car for rental with EuropCar, more than a month before I traveled to Montreal with my family. It turned to be that EuropCar 'send' their clients to Discount. And, well, first when I arrived, they told me they didn't have my reservation, even when I had in printed and confirmed. They made me go to find a way to forward the original e-mail to them. Once they received it, they started asking for requirements no one told me about when I booked my reservation. They showed no kindness, nor sympathy, nor any helpful skills to give us any choice. They left us without a car, just like that. I don't know if it was because we were coming from a foreign country or what, but really, their attitude and lack of customer care, was unbelievable. Don't ever go there, really.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VERY UNRESPECTFUL. We 've been yesterday to take our car. The guy was VERY UNFRIENDLY and didn't explain anything about the car and the way we have to give the car back. So saturday around 18:00 we went back to the car rental location to give it back because it was writtent to return before 00:01. There was no place to leave the key neiter the garage nor in the office. So we take them back home and we call them the next mroning. The other guy was (again very unfriendly) told me that the hour on the contract was from Expedia and not them,as they can't change it, I don't think so (VERY UNPROFESIONAL). The guy told me "you have to get the key back before 10:00 today or you will be charged another day. and then he hang up when I was still talking to him. VERY VERY VERY UNRESPECTFULL. When I arrive to the rental location they told me it's not their fault but the one from expedia, but I think the guy from Discount should Tell us about the rocedure to return the car. So if I have advice for you do not go there if you want be respected and if you want people to take responsabilty. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.
