Best Ski Boot Fitter in Ottawa Area I purchased new downhill skis in the Fall and I really appreciated Frank’s advice. The skis he recommended are perfect for my level and style. I want to give high praise to Frank and Paul and rest of his team in getting me into properly fitted boots. I’m in my mid-50s with terribly sore feet, large bunions, swollen ankles, a crooked big toe … you get the not so pretty picture. Frank chose the boots and from there Paul started the process of expanding the plastic shell in different spots and creating custom footbeds.I had this done before many years ago at a different shop on the Québec side and Dinardo’s work is superior. Frank’s and Paul’s expertise is extraordinary. I have skied all winter with my new boots and they are like slippers. If you’re looking for the right advice and equipment, invest in Dinardo’s expertise, it is well worth it.
Chris here. I bought Blizzard Thunderbird R13 skis with the active C armor plates. These skis are absolutely fantastic. Also my wife and I bought Technica walking shoes which are molded to the individual feet. These are also fantastic and my wife swears by them. Frank's shop is a good place to go for equipment.
I tried to call to book a tune up on my bike and whoever I was on the phone with responded with "There's at least a 2 week wait" and that I should book an appointment. Understanding that, I simply tried to ask if he sold parts individually so that I could fix it myself, to which he cut me off mid question to reiterate that I couldn't bring my bike into the store today. Before I was able to explain that I was simply asking if he had the parts I needed in stock, he had already hung up on me. For this to be my first ever call to this place, I'm shocked as to how this place is so highly rated with service like this. I wouldn't recommend anyone deal with this place what-so-ever after such a needlessly rude encounter.
Just picked up my skis from my first DiNardo tuning experience. They have a great format for drop off and notifications for pick up. Skis were finished early and they did a perfect job. Thank you for a No Bull experience.
Frank helped us with the purchase of new skis for the whole family last spring less my son who had already bought new skis early last winter. I was so excited to try my new Volkl Race Tigers this winter and finally got out today 19-Dec-2022. My Volkl's are amazing! My wife is also happy with her new Kastles as well. Thank You! Owner Frank is amazing, and the entire crew here are TOP NOTCH! They custom fitted me with my most excellent boots last year, and I had the best ski season ever because my feet were warm and cozy. They are 100% professional and super knowledgeable, they will take care of anything you need. I feel so confident walking out of there with boots and skis knowing they have analyzed and measured everything down to the mm and have given me the best options based on my experience. My whole family goes here me, husband and two kids because they are hands down the best. If you want an enjoyable, comfortable, warm ski experience go to these guys. You won't be disappointed!
Frank was an absolute legend. He spent hours with me to find me the best equipment for me! After they rushed my gear through so I could make my ski trip. I asked Frank if I should do anything special and he said. "do your helmet up, these skis are fast" Just an amazing experience and I will definitely be back every season for a tune up. And I am glad I took your advice Frank. Those skis were really fast!
Just bought a new pair of ski boots from Dinardo's. Frank and the team were great through the whole process, They took the time to make sure the boot fit my feet and fit my experience as a skier. I loved how they walked me through everything they were doing, it really helped me get the most out of the boot fitting and learn from the experience.
