We had a wonderful experience with Diesel Photo & Video. From the very first meeting with Andrew until the end everything was planned out with great detail. We loved doing the photos in an urban setting. Our photo's really stood out from traditional wedding photo's we did not want traditional and we have received so many compliments on the setting, style, and detail. This was their first time doing the photography for a same sex wedding and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience. By far the best quality and value.
After looking at numerous photographers from wedding shows and online we chose Diesel Photo and Video for the uniqueness and style of photography. We were amazed with how well our engagement shoot turned out! We took our pictures at Graffiti Alley in Toronto and were impressed with how well his vision translated to the final copy. He was very easy to work with and he was more than patient with us to get the shot right. He helped keep the energy up and was always on the lookout for the perfect shot. We look forward to our wedding day and if the pictures are as good as our engagement pictures we will be extremely satisfied.
We had a blast working with Andrew for our engagement and wedding photos. As an awkward couple when in front of a camera, Andrew made us feel relaxed and comfortable. His creativity with poses made for some of the best shots. You can tell he has been doing this for a while. If you are looking for experience, reasonable prices, quality that is next to none and true professionalism, Diesel is the way to go. We are more than happy with our service from Andrew and his team and would recommend them to everyone!
We had Diesel photo and video shoot our wedding and we weren't happy with most, if not all of the photos that were taken. We felt as the photographer Andrew didn't know basic photography techniques and felt very rushed. We booked with them because of all the great shots in their web portfolio only to know that they were shot by Sandy. We requested Sandy and a few weeks before our wedding they tell us that he is no longer with the company. Andrew is the main shooter and was the new owner and he did not deliver the same quality. During the wedding reception he left us with his junior photographer and we no longer had the two photographers that we had paid for. During the day it seemed that he was training this photographer. Then Andrew left before the reception, leaving us to pay the bill of his plate as it was already set and he gave us no notice. He told us that he was leaving right before we were headed back to the hall. At one point during the night the junior photographer was drinking at the bar and wasn't taking any photos. For those that read this before booking with them, just remember that these are your wedding pictures and you'll most likely only have one in your life. I know his portfolio looks every good, but don't be tricked. They were shot by Sandy the photographer which no longer works there. We know a few people that were about to book with them, but decided not to because of the clothing they wear on the day of your wedding.
When doing something as important as planning your Wedding Day there is always worry that things are not going to turn out the way you want them to. Every couple has a vision of exactly how they would like the day to unfold and it is very hard to put trust into the hands of others. We put our trust in the hands of Diesel, and I cannot explain how happy we are with the outcome! When we saw our pictures we were so overwhelmed with joy and happiness that they had captured moments throughout our special day that will leave us with memories that will last us a lifetime! Then, just a few weeks later we received the phone call that our video was ready. We were so happy with the outcome of our pictures we could not imagine the enjoyment and pleasure we had coming. After spending the evening watching the video of our Wedding Day tears of joy was the only way to express our feelings. Diesel was the best decision we could have made, we put trust in their hands and this company gave us perfection! From day one we were impressed with the service we received. We were never made to feel like a customer, we were treated as friends. Diesel was a perfect addition to our very special and perfect day!!!
