Great park with lots of amenities. Splash pad, playground, soccer field, rink, courts, and even a farmer/artisan market on Sundays in the summer time. We have come here for birthdays as well and the park is well suited to it, with shady seating, a public bathroom, and lots of open space. A gem of a park!
Nice clean parknnThere is a football/ soccer field with standsnBaseball diamondnSkating rinknTable tennis tablenKids playground, sand box , and splash padnPicnic benches, bathrooms, and water fountainn- bathrooms could use a better cleaningn- try to avoid lunch time there , as teens from local school make it there lunch hang out and tend to sit in kids area normally swearing , talking about inappropriate things and listening to music not suited for the yonge children.
Really nice spot — you go through a building that has indoor benches and a dressing area looks like you can borrow helmets there if needed which leads out to the figure 8 skate path, and just past that is the hockey rink. Went with my son and had a blast.
My new favorite paternity leave park. Lots of kiddos in the morning. Parents and the local day care I think. It's a stretch but try include a visit to select bakery or karlovaco butcher near the park.
so ppl apparently pay for pickelball classes which is ridiculous given how expensive it is to live in Toronto and why you get homelessness which the city doesn't care about and the city or whoever plans months in advance not even accounting for the fact it could rain and be canceled which is utter crap considering they don't compromise another day, switch it to indoors or even reimburse the payers. that's highway robbery and scamming. why would anyone want to play somewhere outdoors when rain can ruin everything and you don't get a refund or have the planned session made up for in any way? makes absolutely zero sense. don't get me started on where they play pickelball in Dieppe in the summer that cannot drain the rain water. Horrible execution. no overlooking this
