The Didsbury Fire Department provides fire and medical first response to Didsbury, Alberta and Mountain View County.
The Didsbury Fire Department (DFD), located at 2101 19 Avenue, is a volunteer department whose members are on-call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Year-round and regardless of where you live in Mountain View County, the first and most important step to take before you start your controlled burn is to contact Fire Dispatch toll-free at 1-877-507-7011.

The DFD provides a wide range of services to the Town and surrounding areas. These services include, but are not limited to: fire suppression (structural, vehicle and wild land), assisting Alberta Health Services with medical calls (first and/or co-response), responding to and investigating alarm bell calls (fire and carbon monoxide alarms), motor vehicle collisions, and providing mutual aid to our neighbouring municipalities.
