Purchased a car on Wednesday that started misfiring once it was up to temperature Ten mins after leaving their forecourt and showing fault codes on an OBD scanner, I had scanned the car prior to purchasing and found nothing, meaning the fault had been deliberately deleted from the vehicle. Told because they'd taken the car in part exchange and sold it me without a warranty it wasn't their problem. As a dealer they are ignoring the fact that they're still subject to the consumer rights act and whether a car is sold with a warranty or not they can not refuse a refund or a repair on a vehicle that is not fit for purpose, if the defect was not listed in the original advert or was hidden at time of purchase. No replies to emails and fobbed off on phone. Having to file with small claims court. Avoid.
The worse experience Iv ever had, please don’t even think about getting your car from this company. I bought an Audi a1 and the first month of having it we had to take it to a garage we trusted and had to get a new timing chain and also a new timing chain cover. We asked the dealer if he could give us money towards this but he said no to giving money towards it. He asked us to go down so he could fix it in his garagewhich I did not go to as he is not trusted by me he also charged me 50p per message. Prior to buying the car and when we was there we asked if the engine was all good ect and he said it was absolutely fine. DO NOT EVER GET A CAR FROM HERE
