Upscale Italian restaurant! We ate there early on a Friday evening before it got busy. Pricey but the food was superb. The wait staff were attentive & excellent.We had grilled salmon and grilled shrimp risotto as our main course with a side dish of carrot with ricotta. As well as an entrees of calamari and arugula salad. I would have given it 5 stars except for an issue that management assures us has been corrected.

Can't recommend this place enough! Yes, the food is incredibly expensive, but for special occasions, it is well worth it I went for an anniversary dinner and was not disappointed. The service was top notch and the food was absolutely delicious. The steak was amazing and so were the sides Parmesan French fries, asparagus

The atmosphere doesn't need words. That's great The servers are friendly and the restaurant is clean. It was my second visit. But unfortunately, the cheese pizza with Gorgonzola cheese, which was very delicious on the first visit, disappeared. I went back to eat it and it's a pity.

Food quality was great and beautiful decor! Our favorite was the carrots with honey and ricotta with pine nuts dish as well as the Ribeye. Burrata salad was really fresh and tasty. Overall great experience however way overpriced for what it is and the portions of the dishes. Still recommend to try out at least once , for the experience.

This place hits the mark. Food was exceptional. Service was on point. Sammy took care of us. And his attention to detail is above and beyond. Just went back to Donato's had the most delicious meal. Sammy took care of us again. It was exceptional. Nadia's service is like the frosting on top of the cake. She makes it all taste amazing. I appreciated the attention. She made us feel very well taken care of. I highly recommend you visit Donato's. And enjoy all the wonderful food and attention.

Went for a birthday dinner with my boyfriend. We had a salad, pasta, pizza and wine. Everything we ordered was exceptional! The service was also top. Would definitely go back for another special event.

everything was delightfully tasty, my husband and I shared 4 plates and 2 desserts for 140$ lunch wonderful staff and very accommodating will definitely be back

Amazing atmosphere, the food is even better the carrots are to die for and the drinks are great. Staff is professional, and super attentive. Perfect for date night or group events!

This is a tricky review to write. First the positives: 1 Place looks great. It's a contemporary design without the sterility that often means here in Montreal where contemporary usually means cold. In this case, there is a lot of warm wood, curved elements, perfectly positioned soft lighting and translucent carnelian counter tops that glow warmly on the faces of those above them. 2 The service is absolutely impeccable. Our server was well informed and every detail was attended to on time and in perfect order. 3 The bar seems pretty innovative and they have an excellent choice of private import wines that are reasonably priced. Now for the negatives and here's where it gets tricky. The food comes to your table, beautifully plated and very well designed and assembled from a visual standpoint. There are a few issues for us: everything was somewhat bland and uninteresting to the taste. So the promise of the good looking food, and plating and all of the other positives mentioned amplifies your disappointment when you ultimately put the food in your mouth. The portions are also ridiculously small on the entrees and while, the grilling is splendid absolutely perfect in fact the taste is not quite there. That doesn't mean anything tasted bad. It just didn't taste that good nor did it offer any kind of newness to the palate which given the expectation created and the rather high prices, leads to disappointment with the overall experience. The place is new and you get the feeling the staff really wants to make things work exceptionally well. It just may take some time for the kitchen to catch up with the rest of the place.

I had a Mother’s Day brunch here today! We were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. They were attentive, intuitive and efficient. Every course was an absolute delight! Fresh, light and so savoury. I highly recommend this restaurant. The ambiance and decor are top notch. The entire staff was amazing.
